Just 5 minutes’ walk from Middleton Beach, this property offers self-contained accommodations with free Wi-Fi, a private patio or deck and a free bottle of champagne on arrival. What a wonderful spot! Charm ... gorgeous flowers ... careful attention to detail. Wish we did not live 8,500 miles away so we could come often!

Port Elliot Beachcomber is a gorgeous, spotless beach house located in Port Elliot, right on Horseshoe Bay. It has an undercover front deck with spectacular sea views. Wonderful location with a view over Horseshoe Bay and walking distance to the main stream. Neat and clean as a pin and really comfortable vibe. Moving to QLD so unlikely to be back but if we do, this is the spot we'll stay.
the Beach huts and surrounds are well maintained and clean, continental breakfast supplies are very good, loved the fresh milk (if you don't like local full cream milk let reception know when you arrive, I'm sure they will accommodate your preference) access to the Beach huts is pretty easy and the traffic flow along the main road is easy to negotiate, car parking is very good under a carport next to your hut ( I reverse parked because it was easier to drive out) try the community shed in the centre of the grounds, take your favourite drink, light the wood fire and chat with your neighbours
We ate out one meal and only had wine and nibbles each day for tea. We missed gladwrap (either provided or purchased) to store our left overs. The cushions on the chairs slip quite a bit. My sewing sister said ties on the cushions would be easy. These are LITTLE things and very much more suggestions than criticism.
Lovely township, lovely people, close to other towns to visit including Victor Harbor. Loved the lolly shop and cinema in Victor Harbor. Loved the antiques shop in Middleton. Beaches are great, fishing was excellent earlier in the morning.
Every little practicality and hidden gem that makes a holiday easy and unique was thought of. Beautiful little houses surrounded by gorgeous gardens. Close to beach, although you probably won't want to venture far from your bungalow. Highly recommended.
Great for surfing from beginners to advanced as the heavier waves break further out to sea while there are great smaller waves for beginners closer to shore. If surfing's not your thing, the beach itself stretches for many km. Lovely little local cafes an restaurants in the local area around pt elliot. Best off driving a bit further down into Victor Harbor for some more options though.
We spent our time in Goolwa or other coastal towns so didn't actually do anything in Middleton. The farm is about 10 - 15 minute drive to Goolwa and shops so need to bear this in mind when deciding on provisions for your stay. It's a great spot to access places of interest in the general area.
What a wonderful spot! Charm ... gorgeous flowers ... careful attention to detail. Wish we did not live 8,500 miles away so we could come often!
