Nundle is a beautiful quiet hill top town with beautiful...
Nundle is a beautiful quiet hill top town with beautiful views of the valleys. Cool in winter so rug up but worth a night or two. There are walks in the hills with amazing views over the valleys and there is camping on the very large Wivenhoe's Dam (need a Car to get to) Get your Gold pan out as there is gold in them there hills .....ha ha

A lovely town that we intend to revisit on a future trip, and explore more of the surrounding area.
Loved the Nundle Woollen Mill - a great piece of living history.
On a future occasion I'd like to dine at the pub - unfortunately this time our arrival was delayed and the kitchen was closed. General advice for staying in any small country town - arrive early for dinner, or have a back-up plan. (This is by no means a criticism, just an FYI for travellers who may not be aware.)
Highly recommend the coffee and donuts at the coffee van for breakfast!

Nundle is a beautiful, tidy, friendly little town.
Nundle is a beautiful, tidy, friendly little town. We could have stayed on a few more days, would have liked to go hiking. There are a few "attractions" in Nundle that are worth visiting, overall a quiet and relaxing place.

There was a group of 12 travelling together and staying at...
There was a group of 12 travelling together and staying at the Peel Inn. It was a great venue for our group. Lovely gathering spaces and excellent cooked breakfast. We ate at the dining room at the Inn for dinner and enjoyed the food.
We visited the woollen mills which is across the street and the other lovely shops in the town.
A great place to stop for a weekend stay.

The Woollen Mill is very interesting.
The Woollen Mill is very interesting. Hanging Rock lookout is spectacular. Sheba dam is peaceful and pretty. A small town but with several nice shops to browse with friendly & helpful shop keepers. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful little Country Town. Very clean. Plenty of things to see and do. The Peel Inn is a great place to spend some time with an excellent Restaurant, providing the hungry traveller with a great choice on their Menu.
