It was a cold and windy weekend in Bathurst, the weekend that snow fell in the New England ranges and cut roads, and Bathurst was catching the full brunt of the wind and rain. So we were depressed at being in town in this weather and really didn't care much about anything beyond a room and a heater. Imagine our shock and awe when we found every room has a direct view of Conrod Straight and the chicane. We were so happy being so close to the greatest icon of Australian touring car motorsport and can only imagine what it is like during race weekend.

Great location, bathrooms shared but nicely renovated and clean. Great meal in the pub downstairs. Best pub accomodation I've stayed in.

Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Rooms are comfortable and nice touch that they had heated our room prior to arrival. Staff were extremely friendly. Can park easily out the front and nice and quiet area.

I have stayed in many nice old pubs in our fair country and the family hotel ticks all the boxes for home comforts , interesting urban views from the residential windows. Spacious historic inner proportions and details. Nice log fire. I so do love the small of hardwood burning in the grate on a winters night.Next to that the staff were helpful and courteous. My evening meal was well presented and flavoursome. I would recommend the Family Hotel to any who has a taste for originality, charm and central location.

First time to Bathurst and this property was outstanding. Super friendly staff with great communication from the time we booked to exceptional communication, friendliness and helpfulness while we were there. The apartments are refurbished and had everything we needed. Location was central to where we needed to go and a late checkout was no issue for them and very much appreciated by us! Highly recommended!!

The location was a positive but I won't elect to stay here again.

Just 10 minutes’ walk from Bathurst Train Station, Country Lodge Motor Inn features free Wi-Fi and free parking for cars, trailers and caravans. The air-conditioned rooms offer a flat-screen TV.
