It is in a great location in the Midlands region of Tasmania; the house was settled by an English family in the 1820’s. The owners have researched thoroughly and it is an interesting read. With the history and the fact that the house is Georgian it is like a time capsule of life in the 19th century but with all the comforts of modern living. We loved everything about this beautifully restored 1830s cottage, from the fireplace to the quaint interior to the wood-fired spa. We appreciated the work that went into restoring this amazing property. You can borrow the bikes and take a ride around the lovely town of Ross with its beautiful autumn leaves and architecture, and I can't forget to mention the wood-fired bakery and their vanilla slice.

We chose Haven on High for our family for being central to day trips in any direction throughout Tasmania. We loved all the facilities, the homely yet stylish ambiance, the beautiful country garden and absolute privacy. We had everything we needed and wanted. Matt was very easy to communicate with and was overall an excellent host. Campbelltown was a sweet little town with very friendly and kind locals and access to good coffee and a wonderful Faba Gelato shop yum!
