This was an amazing place and our favourite part of the trip. However there was a huge P&O cruise ship in on our arrival and it was like Benefirm on steroids! We thought we’d made a massive mistake as it was crowded and noisy and like being in a rugby scrum! Once the ship left it was a piece of paradise, as expected. But the ship was there for the whole day! There was another cruise ship due the day after we left so make sure you know what’s going on before you book as you could have a very different experience than the one you pictured!! The food was also very limited, we only ever found the chinses and the puzza takeaway open, other than the cruise ship day, but that was too crouded to face. The shop is useless so go over with your food as the villas have good kitchens
Paradise in Brisbane's backyard. Awesome beaches. Only place where I can catch fish. Advice: go prepared with fishing gear and food from mainland. Buying on the island can get costly. Book Tangalooma Ferry for convenience and cost difference is minimal.
my mum's foot was hurt on the Jetty when we watching dolphins at the first day and bleeding a lot. All the staff and director in Tangalooma island arrange the ambulance and hospital at the first time. We are very impressive for the friendly service we received. Except for the great service, we do enjoy feeding the wild dolphins and the view of Tangalooma island. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Tangalooma. Our villa was in the perfect location, halfway between the resort facilities and the car park. The beach directly out front was beautiful and perfect for swimming, lots of grass for the kids to play on, and perfect for them to ride their scooters. The villa is a little dated and a few things broken, but the location made up for this. After exploring the resort, we thought we had the best spot!

Great facilities but the washing machine was broken and one side lamp bulb was fused with no spare in sight. A noisy Japanese crowd stayed next door and then a P&O cruise ship arrived at Tangalooma and swamped the facility.

Love the location and beautiful grounds around the hotel. Feeding the dolphins was the highlight of our week-end away. Relaxing atmosphere.
