Such genuine and caring people who make you feel special and go the extra mile to take such wonderful care of you. They outshine the breath taking beauty of the island.
Loved every minute of my stay. We all enjoyed the Friday night dancing to the DJ, thank you Mauri. Enjoyed morning walks on the beautiful beach, swimming in the beach and pool. Loved playing table tennis and badminton. Sadly didn't have enough time to do the tours. Restaurant food was very good. Look forward to returning to Tangalooma to do the things I didn't get time to do.
Very expensive for what you get!! Beach is good, diving on the wrecks is good but you must catch the right tide. Food is very small portions for very expensive prices. Room get cleaned very late in the day. Only one included dolphin feed for a 4 day stay in the hotel isn't good. Breakfast is very expensive and not worth it either.... won't be going back there, far too many Oriental tourists in a confined place. .....would rather head to the Great Barrier reef for a long weekend!
The dinning facilities where like being in a regional airport. There was no service what so ever, every thing was exuberantly expensive. There was not one beach umbrella in the entire resort. Every singe activity was so ridiculously expensive. Everything closed at 8:30pm. There was heavy machinery/ earthworks being done from 7am- 4pm every day. The staff where lazy and unhelpful. The two only pools where closed for maintenance an the entire day. We where so upset by the entire experience at this resort and would highly recommend not going there to anyone. It was the worst experience travelling to what was supposed to be an island resort I have ever had. Disappointed would be an understatement.
The resort is a short trip from Brisbane great place to relax and unwind or take on one of loads of activities. A good variety of food options. Clean and tidy just getting a bit tired and in need of some TLC although. Feeding the dolphins was a highlight.
Excellent staff with service being top priority. The food in the café and the coffee shop was amazing, including the sausage rolls, toasted ham and cheese croissant and the smoothies. Our room had a beautiful beach front view with a large balcony to enjoy.
Tangaloom is a great place for a family holiday in sunshine surrounded by beauty. You can be active or relax the days away. If you are in a villa it is a long walk if you are travelling with elderly.
