The cabin was super cute and had everything we needed - fridge, microwave, television. Very clean, really comfy bed, camp was very quiet after about 10pm so we got a good sleep. It was one of the nicest places we have stayed in for a while! Would definitely come back.

We wanted a stopover en route to Geelong and this was perfect. Great communication for check in we had a Genius upgrade to a superior room and it was very spacious and lovely. Lovely little outside seating but weather wasn't good for using it. Walked to Three Dirty Wines for cellar door tasting and cheese board , excellent. Then relaxed in the room. Great parking, lovely garden with Bbq and seating. Highly recommend

The State Coal Mine (museum and area) is well worth visiting...

The State Coal Mine (museum and area) is well worth visiting. Excellent cafe on site. The Guide Park opposite the hospital is well laid out and maintained, with good facilities. The town itself has improved a lot over the years we have been visiting. You might see kangaroos at dawn and dusk in the wetlands reserve in nearby South Dudley.

I travel to Wonthaggi for work sometimes and it is a great little town, everything you need is quite central, people are friendly, and Jeronimo’s pizza is one of the best. The little op shop on graham street is also handy to have.

A relaxing destination to escape the busy city lifestyle.

A relaxing destination to escape the busy city lifestyle. Great restaurant and cafes in town to explore. In close driving proximity of several beautiful beaches and Phillip island. I visited in the middle of the week and during the evening, town were very quiet, as you would expect in any regional Victorian towns.

Good central location to base yourself to see the sites of...

Good central location to base yourself to see the sites of the area with always being in a crowd or having to line up > other attractions near by often get busy. This location is more relaxed and has that 'Country Town' pace to enjoy.

The common areas — particularly the lounge and outdoor spaces — provided a welcoming environment for casual team meetings and downtime. We appreciated the quiet location, yet it was still conveniently close to local shops, cafes, and the coast. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring our group had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. Parking was easy, and the Wi-Fi connection was reliable, which made working remotely hassle-free. Loved the location of our motel.

Loved the location of our motel. Wonthaggi has great shopping for a small place. Not so crowded. Beaches so close by. The reserves awesome. The history of Wonthaggi is very interesting and liked visiting the Coal Mine. Will be back next year.
