This is one of the best places I have had the pleasure of staying. Our hosts provided clear instructions on how to access the property and we were more than happy with the accommodation, from the decor to the very well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The location of the property is good, within walking distance of the local shops and Wynyard provides a good starting point for exploring the Tasmanian north west coast. Overall a great place.

We absolutely loved staying at Wynyard Coastal Pods and wished we could have stayed longer. The Pods are lovely with everything we needed, including destination chargers for our ev. Great position for day trips to Stanley and Devonport. We hope to come back sometime.

The pod was excellent. we would have liked to have spent...

The pod was excellent. we would have liked to have spent more time in the reading room but the weather was too good so we were out exploring. It was very comfortable and had a great view of the water. We did nice morning walks along the river and the beach. Very close to good dining facilities and shops. It was nice being able to walk to these. We would definitely stay in a pod next time as well.

It's small country town with reasonable facilities.

It's small country town with reasonable facilities. I used Public Library for my personal matters and the staff were very supportive and friendly. I visited nearest light house and Table Cape. It was a very beautiful location and can spend all day with a family.

Wynyard is located in a very picturesque part of Tasmania...

Wynyard is located in a very picturesque part of Tasmania and provides a good place to stay to further explore the other areas of the north west coast. The town has all the facilities you need, with two supermarkets, two hotels, banks as well as several eateries, clothing shops and second hand stores to name just a few.

Enjoyed the Thai restaurant very nice food ,enjoyed the breakfast in town also at the river side hotel, we went at the wrong time holiday week end all shops shut ,market on the sea front was very interesting bought a few items.

I lived there in the 1980s so knew it well, the drive around...

I lived there in the 1980s so knew it well, the drive around Table Cape extinct volcano is always worth the effort...Although the wharf Fish 'n Chip shop opposite the Wynyard Pub does NOT grill their fish, only 2 options - crumbed or battered...!! so nothing's changed there since I lived there in the 1980s...!!

We were having a Christmas get together with family so our circumstance were a lot different. Wynyard has magnificent scenery close by, great beach at Boat Harbour, friendly people, close to Burnie, not far to Stanley, great drive to Dip Falls. Behind Burnie there is another wonderful spot to visit called Fern Glade.

We stayed at Kadi House this January and honestly didn’t want to leave. The apartment was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. The room itself was great and private, well thought out, stylish, and everything worked perfectly. The area was lovely and quiet and we woke up to bird song. The Smart TV and strong Wi-Fi were a real bonus, and communication with Angie was excellent throughout. We stayed for four nights and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Wynyard!!

Absolutely fantastic!!! It’s located in a nice quiet spot very close to the main Wynyard area and has very kind hosts. The room was stocked with all the amenities you’d expect from a high end stay plus more (such as beautifully crafted hand made goats milk soap!!). The TV was loaded with STAN and the comfy large bed with a heated blanket made for the perfect night in watching a movie or two. Fruit in the fridge and a few snacks was a very nice touch and the room felt very welcoming and homely. 10/10

The accommodation is very low key in terms of external appearance, but once we walked in, we were so delighted with the way the apartment was furnished and set up. We loved the way the owners retained some elements of 60s/70s design, but updated it in the kitchen and bathroom. The owners have clearly put lots of thought into making this comfortable for visitors, including a night light in the hallway. The location was also good, as Wynyard is a lovely town.

The room was kind of retro and had the basic appliances toaster, kettle microwave etc. The room was spacious, clean and had a great view. Friendly staff. We had so many pillows and more options if needed. Highly recommend The Waterfront Wynyard and the town itself as a base.
