The staff was very friendly, and showed me around the house. The museum was nice. I like the location, it’s 10 min walk to the bridge, but along the way, there are a bunch of museums and shops. And it’s also close to the normal residence area, you can easily find grocery or restaurant nearby

Beautiful old town with the "eastern spirit". Many restaurants along the river with national food, which was tasty. Plenty of shops and people offering parking, inviting to restaurants, etc. One young man was gathering money from people going through the bridge as "the gratitude" for him to jump from the high bridge to the river (I did not give him money, the bridge was very high and it looked to me he risked his health and life to jump from it). Then another young man repeated the same. Lots of garbage throughout - in the streets and in the river. Plenty of poor quality souvenirs at numerous souvenir shops at unrealistic (very high for the quality) prices. Altogether was a mixed experience for me - interesting and unusual on the one hand, but a bit painful, on the other one. It was worth seeing, but would not spend here more than one afternoon.

The gorgeous old town is so tiny that even with the smallest crowd it feels cramped. Unsurprisingly Turkish in atmosphere. Restaurants are relatively good value considering it is Europe. The old bridge viewing area at sunset is pleasant. It can get quite crowded during the day. Definitely worth more than just a day trip from Croatia.

Beautiful city! The views are incredible.
Beautiful city! The views are incredible. Walking the streets is like stepping back in time. It is much cheaper than anywhere we’d been in Croatia. The people were so friendly.
For the best view you can pay €1 to go onto the terrace at Pasha Mosque.

Interesting city, it was on a bucket list to visit and being able to wander the old town was a great experience. Perhaps a little tourity, lots of bars, restaurants and shops, but conversely plenty of choice to eat, drink and peruse what was on offer, a great short break destination. A short drive to two waterfalls and a river source (out of a huge cave) in stunning scenery adds to the overall experience.

It's absolutely beautiful!
It's absolutely beautiful! The Old Bridge (which was rebuilt after the war) is a favourite tourist attraction so the area was quite busy. There are loads of restaurants, gift shops and bars. Try Craft Beer Garden for local ales with a terrace next to the river. Our favourite restaurant was called Malo Misto - superb food, lovely atmosphere, great prices, just outside the central area.
Be aware that there are no shops open on Sundays, and hardly any taxis. We drove our rental car into the centre on Sunday and found free parking and plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Mostar is very pretty, famously so.
Mostar is very pretty, famously so. The Old Town is small, and the new town has nothing to offer tourists, so do stay in the Old Town as close to the Bridge as possible. During the day there are hordes of day trippers, but at night it is much quieter and very lovely, so staying the night is essential; I stayed two nights which was just fine. It is very picturesque but that is it - there are no headline museums etc. Lots of touristy places to eat, all much of a muchness. As with the rest of BiH, very reasonably priced. Great ice cream! If you are interested in the civil war, there are many signs in the new town and on the edge of the old town of the conflict. In addition, the old bridge is of course a reconstruction as is most of the old town.
Perfect stay in Mostar, lovely little hotel attached to Mostar old town. Great and friendly service from the ladies at reception and breakfast.
Amazing view from the rooftop terrace and tasty Bosnian breakfast in the morning. 100% recommended! ( comfy parking and staff could not help enough to make your stay perfect).
The hotel is very well-located at walking distance of the Old Town of Mostar. The surroundings were safe and the staff was nice and helpful. The room was comfortable, amazing bed, and everything was very clean. Overall it was a wonderful choice for our one-night stay in Mostar, with great price-quality.
Beautiful hotel and amazing staff. Incredibly friendly and made our stay very special. From the lovely drink and dessert on arrival, and free samples of Bosnian alcohol, to the care in our room and the beautiful views. This hotel is the only hotel I'd recommend in Mostar that's how great it is!
We had a room with a balcony overlooking the old town and bridge. Nice comfortable rooms decorated with traditional Bosnian items, buffet breakfast. Great value. We really knew we were in Mostar!
Short walk from Old Town Mostar, comfortable bed, good air conditioning. Breakfast was really good. Bar in the hotel was also good. Overall good experience.
