An amazing stay- the staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to help with anything I needed. They kindly kept my luggage for me while I traveled and still treated me like a paid guest when I came back to collect it. The facilities, e.g. the gym and sauna, were great, and I loved the breakfast- so many options to choose from. I stayed here based on a friend's recommendation and would 100% recommend it to anyone else going to Dhaka.

Dhaka is a chaotic bustling city.

Dhaka is a chaotic bustling city. Driving on the roads needs nerves of steel as nobody seems to heed traffic signals. A new Mass Transit metro system has started which so far has one line. The carriages are airconditioned. The carriages are almost always packed with passengers. It is cheap and comfortable way to get around from Uttara to the commercial centre in Motijheel. Rickshaws and tuk tuks are plentiful and everywhere. There are many eating places from the cheap and cheerful to the more pricey establishments. The city needs to consider a huge clean up operation - as there is litter everywhere - and an eyesore.

"Why Bangladesh???"

"Why Bangladesh???" is the question we got before we left on our vacation and then from local people who stopped to talk to us. The great thing about traveling in this "un-touristed" country is that the locals are curious, want to spend time with us, take selfies with us and cheer when we say we're from America. When was your last trip when you heard any local shout: "We LOVE America!!!" Yes, be prepared for poverty, crowding, chaos and lack of cleanliness; but the people will win you over.

The famous attractions (fort, pink house etc) are all pretty lame. Trip on the rive, ride in an CNG or an Tesla and a walk through old Dhaka are great fun and there’s so much to see. People are lovely. The day to day madness is thrilling.

I am glad I visited Dhaka.

I am glad I visited Dhaka. Everyone I met was friendly even outside of the service industry. I learned first hand a lot about the struggle for independence by visiting the Bangladesh National Museum and Military Museum. Traffic was slow and don't even think about getting a ride in the old town area. Streets are too narrow. Walking the old town was great with lots of interesting shops and food available. Short drive to Panam city a UNESCO site.

The staff were extremely welcoming and hospitable. From the airport pickup to the check in staff. I believe I was one of the few people who were visiting Dhaka for tourism purposes, and the staff did everything they could to ensure that we had a great stay and saw all the attractions. The swimming pool (when open...) was fantastic and had a superb view of the Gulshan district of Dhaka. The breakfast was extremely plentiful with a variety of western and local options. Room was comfy and did not hear any neighbours during our stay at this hotel.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi, and good air conditioning. The location in Uttara was convenient, with easy access to restaurants, the airport, and shopping areas. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing stay. ***Specially all staff are very friendly and welcoming***

Right on the bus route from airport. Lots of restaurants of all price levels in immediate area. One of the few western type cafes in the whole city was right across the road. One mile interesting walk ( or 60 taka rickshaw) to MRT into the city. Reasonably quiet for Bangladesh. Very good price for city private room. Good hot water shower. Bed comfortable Staff didn't really speak much English but tried to be helpful

The Zabeer is located very close to the Dhaka international airport, which is the main reason why I stayed there. The rooms are specious, and facilities are good; staff friendly. If you need to catch a flight, it's good to stay in the Zabeer, as you may get stuck in traffic if you need to travel from a hotel more down town.
