United StatesIt was very clean, peaceful and extremely affordable. We loved the family room in the back with a full kitchen and fireplace where we gathered with all the guests and family. The host were very kind and accommodating. It is very close to town. There was also a store across the street to buy some basic needs.

Tryavna played an important role in the Bulgarian National...
Tryavna played an important role in the Bulgarian National Revival and has over 140 preserved houses from this period. You can visit six of these houses, which are now museums, with a combined ticket from Wednesday to Sunday. The town is renowned for its air quality. Geographically in the centre of Bulgaria, Tryavna is close to one of the crossing points of the Stara Planina (the old mountains) at Shipka Pass, where a decisive battle in the liberation from Ottoman rule took place. The struggle and sacrifices for freedom are commemorated at the impressive Monument to Freedom at St. Nicholas' Peak, which can be easily reached by car from Tryavna.

Tryavna historical center is a must see.
Tryavna historical center is a must see. Beautiful old architecture, lots of souvenirs shops with local products to sell, restaurants, really enjoyable place to visit for a few hours as it is not that big.

A small town steeped in traditions, vibrant.
A small town steeped in traditions, vibrant. I had a great night at a local restaurant. A duo was playing. Initially, it was all folky and traditional folk dancing. I asked the Guitarist if he played rock. Yes, he said. From there on, wow. I was invited to join a large family gathering. Dancing, talking, laughing. Great. For a lone traveller. It was a revelation.

Wonderful , charming and full of good vibe and old fashion houses that make the town attractive.
Quiet and yet buzzing , lovely delicious restaurants , nice small garden in the city centre.
Just perfect 👍.
It’s easy to reach from everywhere , free town parking.
Balabanova house it’s a cozy and clean restaurant, however they close early so be prepared to be done with dinner just after 10pm.
Lovely and fresh bakery right at the centre .

Gorgeous home, exceptionally well built and maintained. Spacious room with large beds and a beautiful view of a pristine forest. Spacious bathroom / shower. Extra blankets and cotton sheets. Balcony with great view. Friendly host. Everything was super-clean and well-maintained. I wish I could stay there longer, but we only stayed one night and had to continue on our journey.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and pleasant, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, we had a great stay. The only minor issue was that the entire bathroom floor got wet every time we took a shower. There is enough space to install a glass shower screen, which would make the bathroom much more practical.
