The hotel and the swimming pool were very clean. The swimming pool was a good size. It is a beautiful modernized traditional building. The room was very clean and in a good condition, it was even checked to make sure no bugs were there before we moved in. The breakfast was very good with lots of baked options and cakes, lots of choice generally, more like a lunch! The bread was excellent. They had pao de queijo.

The guesthouse is a short walk up a slight hill from the bus station, but it’s well worth the effort. Alternatively, you can take a local taxi for convenience. If you’re traveling with wheeled luggage, be aware that the cobblestone streets may make the walk a bit tricky. Also, watch out for traffic, as there are no road markings. Our room was lovely, featuring double-aspect windows with a fantastic view. It was spotless and felt very new. One minor drawback is that the windows are actually shutters, not glass, so some outside noise does filter in. However, since the guesthouse is on the edge of town, the noise wasn’t too disruptive. This design is due to the building’s listed or historical status, which adds to its charm. The manager was very friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was simple but plentiful, providing a good start to the day. Being on the edge of town, the guesthouse is a bit of a walk from the bus station, but it’s conveniently close to natural pools and local hiking trails. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops just a few minutes’ walk downhill. I would definitely stay here again.

Seems like a new building, all super tidy and clean. Staff was super friendly too. Kitchen is huge and very well equipped. I slept very well.

Arriving to Lençois without expectations about anything, we got the best stay we could possibly have wished for. The owner of this property, Franklin, welcomed us as his children in our first encounter and ever since, he held that level of friendliness and made us feel at home. The breakfast is great and served fresh with new variations of "salgados", cakes and juices everyday. Since the owner is a former guide, he helped us to plan all of our activities and since we're traveling on a budget he found ways for us to explore as much as possible for a low cost by renting a car and driving to the attractions instead of renting guides. You can really tell when someone loves what they are doing and are passionate about it, and this is one of those cases.
