Rooms are way better than the photos! It is super central and the staff was very helpful. Staf was able to speak English and Spanish, which is a rare thing in Brazil. Our stay at this hotel was way better than what we were anticipating. I would definetely go back to this hotel.

The city needs better maintenance from the public...

The city needs better maintenance from the public authorities; the streets are full of potholes, and when it rains, several puddles form. On the other hand, the city offers some very interesting excursions to the islands.

The stay was great, but the city needs better care from its...

The stay was great, but the city needs better care from its leaders. There's a lot to be done. The streets are very dirty and full of potholes. The tourist center is abandoned. But despite everything, it's worth visiting the city; the people are hospitable.
