Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Quiet location even though it’s located in the center of Banff. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location for skiing and snowboarding with buses in front of the hotel and storage of equipment in the hotel.

Offering an on-site coffee shop, Canalta Lodge is located 5 minutes’ drive from Banff city centre. Free WiFi access is available. Snowy Owl Sled Dog Tours are 20 minutes’ drive away. The hot tub, sauna, games, grill, etc, all really upped the value of this place for us. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel is very close to the Downtown stores. Could walk easily to everything. When we arrived We got upgraded to a suite with a couch and table and the beds are upstairs. Pretty cool. The beds are super comfy and lots of pillows. Very very clean !

Flott liten by omgitt av fantastisk fjell og natur. Kort vei til vintersportstedet Lake Louise. Dyrt der i høysesongen og mye turister. Parkering kan være utfordrende. Mange gode utesteder. Bow River er flott med dyreliv. Kan leie kano for å utforske elven og se på dyreliv. Flere attraksjoner man kan besøke blant annet tur med gondolbane opp til Sulphur Mountain som ligger 2281 moh. Flott utsikt.
Will definitely be back. Cozy town in the mountains with a broad variety of activities and sights. Buffalo Mountain Lodge serves great food, the atmosphere is varm and welcomming. Wild Water adventures offers super fun rafting trips the is an absolute to try even if you haven't been rafting bedfore.
Passe avstand til skistedene Sunshine village og Lake Louise. Koselig sted med mange bra restauranter og butikker. Livlig sted på kvelden. Favoritt restaurant var Balkan (gresk). Enkelt å komme seg rundt via buss.
-bedroom and washroom were clean and tidy, did not have any odour -room had a mountain view -everything was working (ie. fridge, microwave, air conditioner)/(vending machines, ice machines) -bed and pillows were comfortable -lots of parking spaces -staffs were extremely friendly and accomodating -our special request for the booking was met although it was a last minute booking (great comminication skills with customer- most especially the lady receptionist; exceptional customer service - was never put on hold whenever I called for assistance or make requests)

Wonderful staff, nice homey atmosphere, and very clean place to stay. They have a lovely breakfast to start your day. Great location that’s hidden away from the bustle of downtown but just a few minutes walk away is you want to go buy something. I’d definitely come back to stay next time. I highly recommend this boutique hotel— has so much more personality than the big chains!
Very good service. We had a really bad camping experience the night before so arrived in Banff completely exhausted. I was sharing the story with the manager before check in and when I returned to collect the room key he had upgraded us to an amazing room. Such great service.

Magnificent views of snow-capped mountains. A bistro on the premises if you didn't want to go into Banff town centre. About 20mins walk to town or free shuttle bus takes you in and back certain times of the day.

I liked how the room was situated with the beds on one side with a wall between the area with the coffee area, then the bathroom.
Everything was superb. Breakfasts were incredible. Room was delightful. Our hosts Albert And Esther were lovely people
