Touchstone Resort features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a fitness centre and bar in Bracebridge. Staff was very friendly and it seemed like I was staying in a suite as compared to a hotel, felt like home almost. Place was very clean and views are amazing.
Offering free WiFi throughout, Wellington Inn is located in Bracebridge. Each room includes a fridge, a microwave and a coffee machine. The young man who works there (son of the family) was extremely pleasant! He did his job well and also mingled with us which was nice! I did not know there would be a continental breakfast or they would make our beds! (Most inns I have stayed at do not make your bed during the day which was a nice treat!)
This Bracebridge, Ontario motel is just a 15-minute walk from Bracebridge Falls. The pet-friendly property offers a heated outdoor pool, a children’s playground and a picnic area with a barbecue... Sheets and duvet were high quality. Pool was clean. I liked the little bar area with tiny sink and fridge and counter space to make sandwiches.
Situated in Bracebridge, Inn at the Falls offers beachfront accommodation 3.3 km from Santa s Village and features various facilities, such as a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. Beautiful rooms. Gorgeous interior. Friendly receptionist. Breakfast was simple but nice, couldn't have asked for more for the price. Definitely would recommend. Plenty of parking too.
Bracebridge is a lovely town offering a wide range of activities for all age groups. Milford Bay is lovely, Kerrie Glen is a great gold course as well as Muskoka Highlands. The craft brewery is a must visit.
Bracebridge has something for everyone and is a great hub to plan outback trips from. It is sad to say though that it is also very pricey in some areas of business due to the "cottage clients" but its up to you what you think you want to spend on stuff.
People so friendly and helpful Went for free cross country skiing that was incredible Fire and ice festive was fantastic I can’t wait to come again next year!! Had supper at the roadhouse and the service was sooooo slow so I won’t do that again.
We enjoyed the downtown area & the stores we visited. The Italian restaurant, Rende, was fabulous. Good food, the staff very helpful & pleasant & good value for the money. We will return there some day.
Santa's village was great, kids loved it. Spent the whole day there. Nick's restaurant was great for breakfast and the old station restaurant was delicious for supper. Wanted to do the tour boat and beach but ran out of time and it rained
Bracebridge is beautiful! Because we were with very young children, we didn’t do scenic walks or a boat tour, though this would have been a lovely area to do this in. We did go to Santa’s Village, which the 3 and 5-year-old enjoyed. We had read mixed reviews about Santa’s Village, but the staff there were kind, the park was clean and maintained and the rides were excellent. Obvious upgrades were being made to update the Park. We enjoyed two restaurants while there; the Old Station and Wabora. The Old Station was fantastic and highly recommended—very Kid friendly. Wabora was also very good and was Japanese fusion. Hubby loved the sushi and sashimi. I had steak and it was good. Not many options for children, but server was delightful. Other place I’d recommend is the amazing toy store, Minds Alive (formerly Applause). Just amazing and so much selection. Prices reasonable. The downtown is easy to walk. I’d love to come back without the kids and explore the area more. It seems quite safe and friendly.

We were travelling for a family gathering so were just looking for somewhere of our own to crash at night with our four-month-old. In terms of affordability in Muskoka during the summer, we couldn't beat this option. We had two double beds in our room and space for our pack n' play, an asset with all of our baby gear. There was also a kitchenette which could be useful for breakfasts, etc.

The staff was awesome. They pretty much give you the freedom as long as you take care of the property as well. I think the property in general is on its way to improvement. It probably had its glorious days then slowly lost it and then working on it again. It’s a decent place to stay when you’re around the area of Bracebridge or Huntsville. We’d love to go back, why not!

The view, the big three that we could touch from our balcony, the location: it's just off main street, the 1870 decor and architecture (a judge's home back then), the staff. There are newer hotels in Bracebridge but none with such character.
