An absolutely wonderful hotel! The scenery is as beautiful as a tourist attraction, and the lake views are so stunning that they belong on a postcard. The room was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. We also loved that we could enjoy free boating. I would love to come back in the summer and stay for two nights, enjoying boating on the lake and playing beach volleyball. I absolutely love this beautiful historic inn with its century-old charm. It’s truly a special place, and we had such a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Muskoka Luxury Charming Cottage! The location in Gravenhurst is fantastic and made exploring the area so easy. The house itself is extremely spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. A special thanks to the host, who was incredibly responsive and super accommodating by allowing us flexibility with an early check-in and late check-out. That made a huge difference for our trip! Highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Muskoka.

It is a very nice place.

It is a very nice place. Although we went on a long weekend so on the Monday a lot of shops in the the town were closed but most restaurants were open. The steamship wasn't running until the day we were to leave unfortunately.

Gravenhurst has a lot to offer and the area around the town...

Gravenhurst has a lot to offer and the area around the town dock was beautiful, well maintained and had a lot of places to just sit and watch the harbour or take in the museum or boat tours or shops. Lively and friendly community and good vibes! We even made friends and chatted with a friendly local and his friendly dogs which was a highlight of our trip!

Was clean. Valve for money. Friendly staff. Was better than I expected. And better than some 4 star places . Breakfast was good for continental. Was walking distance to opera house. Would definitely go back.

Gravenhurst is a lovely little town but keep in mind, that...

Gravenhurst is a lovely little town but keep in mind, that some stores are not open on Mondays and sometimes Tuesdays. The downtown core is losing a lot of their stores, but THE BAKERY off of the main street (Brock St.)has the best honey-dipped doughnuts and the chelseas and cinnamon loaf plus the sourdough bread! Family owned. The Blue Willow Tea House is a wonderful experince too!! Great selection of teas. Reservations are recommended for tea service, but well worth it... We have been to Bethune house and learned so much about this Canadian Doctor ...very knowledgeable staff. Great places for hikes too.

The Boston Pizza was a nice dining place and it is near to...

The Boston Pizza was a nice dining place and it is near to waterfront activities. We went to the Torrance Barrens for stargazing, the moon was too bright for star-observing though, the sunset on the waterfront and beavers in the ponds were so cute and surprisingly delightful to watch. The Tree Museum was a good idea, however, the flying bugs in the woods were quite disturbing in the summer. The unexpected antique car show turns out to be a highlight of our short trip during the weekend.

Beautiful town, the Bethune house museum is definitely worth a visit. Very informative. Most places seem to be walkable,park car and go. The Wenonah2 ship was good, BUT it is like touring the fancy cottages. Kind of disappointed that Lake Muskoka is so built up .

The Blue Spruce Bed and Breakfast is located in a delightfully quaint, historic home right down the road from the Wharf and most attractions in downtown Gravenhurst. The house itself was exceptionally clean and remarkably quiet. Ange and Bill were wonderfully accommodating and friendly. Breakfast (we had pancakes and eggs) was delightful and cozy, and we enjoyed getting to chat with fellow travellers and our hosts.
