CanadaQuiet country setting only 5 minutes from town with fewer guests for a homey atmosphere. The owners were on site and spent time talking to us about things to do and the history of the area. Michelle (the owner) thought of everything - water in the fridge, cups plates and napkins and cutlery, and mosquito repellant so we could sit outside at night, the treats from the local bakery were an added touch.
Would definitely stay there again.

Lots of interesting places to visit , everyone is super...
Lots of interesting places to visit , everyone is super friendly and welcoming.
On the way to Inverness, the beach is one of the best places.
The lighthouse in Cheticamp isn’t worth the drive in the gravel road, and not the nicest lighthouse, there are many others.

The Auberge Doucet is located on a hill with a beautiful view. The sunset was amazing.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was comfortable and the buildings were in good state of repairs.
The breakfast was plentiful and good.

Good place to stay and enjoyed the view of the ocean from...
Good place to stay and enjoyed the view of the ocean from our porch. The rental had everything we needed to prepare a meal and shopping for food was enjoyable. We enjoyed a walk around the area taking pictures and a nice shop for gifts, ice cream and other goodies. Don't forget the pharmacy which surprisingly had nice gifts and everything needed for tolitetries.

We ate dinner at Le Gabriel Restaurant.
We ate dinner at Le Gabriel Restaurant. There was entertainment Sunday evening at the restaurant. A woman played the fiddle and a man accompanied her on a keyboard. They were excellent. Seafood prices are very high. The place was very busy and the food was good.
Getting around Cheticamp is easy. We enjoyed driving along the entire Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island. The Cape Breton Highlands Provincial Park was closed because of high fire danger.

We love Cheticamp.
We love Cheticamp. The Dory for entertainment or the Gabriel for an outdoor beverage. Lots to see . Beautiful location watching the fishing boats! The Auberge Suites are great. Stayed there twice. And would stay again!

This charming village is a perfect location to explore west...
This charming village is a perfect location to explore west side of the Cabot Trail, among many the Skyline trail. There are several good restaurants (a bit $$) and a lovely Cafe (Marguerite). Like all over in Nova Scotia, people are welcoming and friendly.

The location of Cornerstone is perfect in it is located at the entrance to Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The room was clean and spacious and offered everything we needed. The property is managed by the owners who are exceptional; they were friendly and offered so many great recommendations on restaurants, bakery and sites to visit in the area. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice and modern boutique hotel. The self check in was easy, and we loved the complimentary bottled, sparkling water and snacks that were left in our room. There was also an open kitchen where you can help yourself to more complimentary snacks. There was yogurt, granola bars, and more bottled and sparkling water. There is no front desk, so they rely on the honor system.

Nice modern interior and appliances, also got a free upgrade on our suite. The Cabot suite was fully stocked with cookware, stove, and dishwasher, so we were able to cook dinner easily, which was a good option to have since there were only a handful of restaurants open in Cheticamp during the winter.

Comfortable bed. Quiet, small hotel. Easy check-in process. Fridge in room. Nice view of ocean. Building is older but in good repair. Hot breakfast included and was delicious. I had French toast and bacon. Several choices available, all made to order. Staff friendly and helpful.

Location was fantastic. Walking distance to restaurants and pubs.
Bedding were extremely comfortable with fluffy duvet superior to regular hotel sheets
Everything in the room worked.
Breakfast was hot and combiner. Nice sunny room !
