CanadaEverything! The location and view is amazing. Great value for the money and strong Wi-Fi (which is not a small thing considering that most of the trail has very poor reception). The owners are great people who love what they do and it is apparent in all the small details that they have put into this place. For them it is a not just a business but a passion and it shows.

AustraliaLocated on the edge of town, however Chéticamp is such a long spread out town it doesn’t matter. Lovely basic room, very comfortable, very much appreciated small assortment of chocolate and sweets to welcome us. Nice kitchenette. Best breakfast that we had on our trip. Great find.

United KingdomIts located very centrally in Cheticamp, with onsite parking. The room is above the restaurant, which was fine as we couldn't hear any noise from below. The views out over the bay were really nice and everything is walking distance. The decor is a little dated inside (there's a CD player haha) but the bed was comfy and the shower/bath tub super large and comfortable! The kitchen is large, with lots of utensils and things if you are cooking. It was walking distance from all the main sites of Cheticamp and the restaurant underneath looked good (though we didnt get to dine there).

Good place to stay and enjoyed the view of the ocean from...
Good place to stay and enjoyed the view of the ocean from our porch. The rental had everything we needed to prepare a meal and shopping for food was enjoyable. We enjoyed a walk around the area taking pictures and a nice shop for gifts, ice cream and other goodies. Don't forget the pharmacy which surprisingly had nice gifts and everything needed for tolitetries.

We ate dinner at Le Gabriel Restaurant.
We ate dinner at Le Gabriel Restaurant. There was entertainment Sunday evening at the restaurant. A woman played the fiddle and a man accompanied her on a keyboard. They were excellent. Seafood prices are very high. The place was very busy and the food was good.
Getting around Cheticamp is easy. We enjoyed driving along the entire Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island. The Cape Breton Highlands Provincial Park was closed because of high fire danger.

We love Cheticamp.
We love Cheticamp. The Dory for entertainment or the Gabriel for an outdoor beverage. Lots to see . Beautiful location watching the fishing boats! The Auberge Suites are great. Stayed there twice. And would stay again!

This charming village is a perfect location to explore west...
This charming village is a perfect location to explore west side of the Cabot Trail, among many the Skyline trail. There are several good restaurants (a bit $$) and a lovely Cafe (Marguerite). Like all over in Nova Scotia, people are welcoming and friendly.

Cheticamp is a cute town that is pretty small.
Cheticamp is a cute town that is pretty small. Try to find live fiddling music, which we did at Doryman's Pub. The area is also known for rug hooking and there are two shops that specialize in those products. There are a couple of cute restaurants that offer good food, the Seagull being one.

A number of good restaurants.
A number of good restaurants. Local people very helpful and friendly. Gorgeous area including many sites outside of the nearby National Park. Local sites include Gypsum Lake, Cheticamp Island ( causeway access). Harbour Restaurant and Seafood Stop good - plain and simple good Pizza - Pizza Shack - liked veggie explosion. Mr Chicken great for ice cream - only tried the ice cream - small was bigger than we expected. Abundant attractions beyond town.

They did a great job converting this older home into a beautiful and cozy hotel. We had room #2 in the main house and it was very nicely decorated with an amazing bathroom (bathrobes too!). It was all very fresh and clean. Snacks were provided in the room. Great sitting area with snacks, books and info on local attractions. A super nice workout room. Good communication with owners, though we never met them in person. Perfect location to get a good sleep after driving Cabot Trail counter-clockwise.

We loved everything about this place. It was quiet, comfortable and felt like home. The check in process was incredibly quick and easy. The suite was central to everything you'd need so you never had to walk far. We fell in love with the community. It was beautiful. We will definitely return to La Digue Suites and to Cheticamp. Highly recommend 👌

The location was perfect for exploring Cape Breton. At check-in, Greg was extremely helpful and friendly with his advice on restaurants and things to see in the surrounding area. It was close to Cheticamp as well as numerous hikes in the area so it made a perfect base.

It was a lovely spot right in the heart of Cheticamp on the Cabot Trail. Close to restaurants, beaches, golf, whale watching, hiking. The kitchen was very spacious with everything needed, staff friendly, very clean cottage , good water pressure etc.

We received excellent service here. Michelle was very attentive and gave us suggestions of places to eat and places to see in Cheticamp. We chose this location because of its proximity to the the gypsum quarry trails.
