AustraliaLocated on the edge of town, however Chéticamp is such a long spread out town it doesn’t matter. Lovely basic room, very comfortable, very much appreciated small assortment of chocolate and sweets to welcome us. Nice kitchenette. Best breakfast that we had on our trip. Great find.

United KingdomIts located very centrally in Cheticamp, with onsite parking. The room is above the restaurant, which was fine as we couldn't hear any noise from below. The views out over the bay were really nice and everything is walking distance. The decor is a little dated inside (there's a CD player haha) but the bed was comfy and the shower/bath tub super large and comfortable! The kitchen is large, with lots of utensils and things if you are cooking. It was walking distance from all the main sites of Cheticamp and the restaurant underneath looked good (though we didnt get to dine there).

Good place to stay and enjoyed the view of the ocean from...
Good place to stay and enjoyed the view of the ocean from our porch. The rental had everything we needed to prepare a meal and shopping for food was enjoyable. We enjoyed a walk around the area taking pictures and a nice shop for gifts, ice cream and other goodies. Don't forget the pharmacy which surprisingly had nice gifts and everything needed for tolitetries.

We ate dinner at Le Gabriel Restaurant.
We ate dinner at Le Gabriel Restaurant. There was entertainment Sunday evening at the restaurant. A woman played the fiddle and a man accompanied her on a keyboard. They were excellent. Seafood prices are very high. The place was very busy and the food was good.
Getting around Cheticamp is easy. We enjoyed driving along the entire Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island. The Cape Breton Highlands Provincial Park was closed because of high fire danger.

We love Cheticamp.
We love Cheticamp. The Dory for entertainment or the Gabriel for an outdoor beverage. Lots to see . Beautiful location watching the fishing boats! The Auberge Suites are great. Stayed there twice. And would stay again!

This charming village is a perfect location to explore west...
This charming village is a perfect location to explore west side of the Cabot Trail, among many the Skyline trail. There are several good restaurants (a bit $$) and a lovely Cafe (Marguerite). Like all over in Nova Scotia, people are welcoming and friendly.

Cheticamp is a cute town that is pretty small.
Cheticamp is a cute town that is pretty small. Try to find live fiddling music, which we did at Doryman's Pub. The area is also known for rug hooking and there are two shops that specialize in those products. There are a couple of cute restaurants that offer good food, the Seagull being one.

A number of good restaurants.
A number of good restaurants. Local people very helpful and friendly. Gorgeous area including many sites outside of the nearby National Park. Local sites include Gypsum Lake, Cheticamp Island ( causeway access). Harbour Restaurant and Seafood Stop good - plain and simple good Pizza - Pizza Shack - liked veggie explosion. Mr Chicken great for ice cream - only tried the ice cream - small was bigger than we expected. Abundant attractions beyond town.

Nice modern interior and appliances, also got a free upgrade on our suite. The Cabot suite was fully stocked with cookware, stove, and dishwasher, so we were able to cook dinner easily, which was a good option to have since there were only a handful of restaurants open in Cheticamp during the winter.

As beautiful a motel property as I’ve ever enjoyed- gorgeous shore along Cheticamp river below mountains - property by the highway but very quiet - beautiful tranquility. Ten minute walk to National Park Visitor Centre and 8 free level 2 EV chargers. Large property, lovely lawns, trails in woods.

Comfortable bed. Quiet, small hotel. Easy check-in process. Fridge in room. Nice view of ocean. Building is older but in good repair. Hot breakfast included and was delicious. I had French toast and bacon. Several choices available, all made to order. Staff friendly and helpful.

The apartment has everything we needed and it was very comfortable including the bed.
Located centrally in Cheticamp close to the harbour and above a very good restaurant serving great food.
Ideally located for some of the Cabot hiking trails.

The property is very old and it definitely requires complete overall of its basic amenities within the rooms and outside. Breakfast spread was good but that alone will not give good points for the hotel.
