We absolutely loved our night of glamping . We only wished we booked for 3nights. The host Francesco was so helpful friendly showing us directions for hikes close by . The peace and tranquillity you feel once arriving is beautiful We will be back

Quiet neighborhood, and our room had a lovely view of the sunset. The bed was very comfy, the bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, and there was a jacuzzi on the deck that we did not use for lack of time, as we were busy visiting the area. We received two (!) bottles of Pino Griggio and breakfast was just perfect. The house is so pretty and well designed and we did not want to leave.

It was a clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay in a cute residential neighbourhood. It is centrally located, everything in town was easy get to. So many local amenities were within walking distance, including parks. I would highly recommend the place to anyone. The staff were friendly without being annoying or intrusive. The furnishings are a little out dated but very comfortable and let's be honest, you're not there for the decor, you're there for the activities you've planned in the area.

The staff were excellent. They changed our room so that we could fit our tandem bike in, and were really kind, friendly and understanding at all times. The room was good, basic and clean, as was the bathroom.

"The staff and management were warm and accommodating throughout our stay. The room offered excellent value, with thoughtfully arranged furnishings and comfortable bedding that made for a restful experience. The washrooms were spotless and well-maintained. That said, the property could benefit from some upkeep, and we noticed a noticeable presence of homeless individuals around the premises, which may be a consideration for some guests. The service was exceptional! We had a problem getting there on time. As a result we needed to call for someone to come check us in. It was 2 o'clock in the morning. The night watchman was kind enough to allow my husband and I to come in and wait in the lobby as it was cold and snowing outside. Due to the late hour I had woken the lady that came to our rescue. She was absolutely great! Checked us in, and was training the night watchman for future services at the same time. We came over for a celebration of life the following day and this lady took her time offering her condolences etc. And again in the morning when we had to check out. I'm sure we'll be staying here every time we travel to the Duncan area, as we already have a few times in the past. But this particular management...she knows how to treat people and gave us every courtesy considering I got her out of bed to come over in the middle of the night. The overall cleanliness of the room was also exceptional. Some places we've stayed have been... a bit scary to say the least.

This all-suite hotel overlooks Cowichan Bay and suites with a kitchenette. It is 13 km from the British Columbia Forest Discovery Center.
