The Nottawa Gem, Blue Mountain & Collingwood is located in Nottawa and offers a garden and barbecue facilities. I loved that they had poop bags at the door for picking up after your dog. They had a coffee station with coffee, tea, and hot chocolates. The location was really great and it was nice and cozy. It was a winter stay but we plan on coming back in the summer.
Offering a wrap-around communal porch, the Victorian-style Gables Bed & Breakfast is surrounded by a well-tended garden with a pond. Nice and stylish Victorian house. Comfortable large rooms, good bed. Great Canadian breakfast, recipes were provided on request. Friendly owners who made dinner reservation and advised about trips. The hottub was really hot, while snow was still in the garden
This bed and breakfast is located across from snowmobile trails, less than 10 minutes’ drive from Mad River Golf Club. It offers a full daily breakfast. Lovely hot breakfast, enjoyed conversation with Ann & Dave. Enjoyed the history of the renovation of the Caboose. Had an excellent dinner at Chez Michel in Creemore.
Located along the shores of Georgian Bay, this motel is less than 7 km from downtown Collingwood and 12 km from Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. Free Wi-Fi is available. Excellent management. Kind people who provided us with a clean room and a great stay.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Collingwood is located in Collingwood, within an 18-minute walk of Collingwood Eddie Bush Memorial Arena and 6 miles of Plunge Aquatic Centre. Very convenient location to Collingwood. Hotel was very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The female owner wouldn’t let a special needs grandchild be in their room for a couple hours a in the afternoon while waiting for the wedding. They kicked him out!!! I still don’t even understand how they could do that. They said no guests allowed “read the fine print” He was not in any way being a problem. Still trying to figure out their very inflexible way of operating. This is one of three bad incidents for three of our wedding guests.
Lovely 'rural' area with great access to town. We enjoyed visiting Duntroon Cyder house especially and they passed on some great recommendations for Amy's Bakery and tips for a future cider related trip we will definitely be planning!! Duntroon is much like I remember it from years ago! A lovely escape from our busy lives!
Great desination for all season plenty to do and in close proximity of other places with even more to do. We stayed at at the Glen Huron Inn in Duntroon went zip lining in the blue mountains and went to farmers market in Collingwood and there was plenty of other things to do but unfortunately we could only stay one night.
