We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel is super clean, and the location is excellent-just 5 minutes walk to the Edmonton Mall. The underground parking was a real advantage. Th staff were all super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was also impressive, with hot food options quick refills so nothing even ran out. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Edmonton!

From the moment we arrived till we left all staff were so friendly and helpful. The reception lady went out of her way to help with a last minute booking. When we were leaving the cleaning lady who was working on our floor called out a goodbye and safe travels. Our room was large, new and comfortable. Free Breakfast was a wider choice than we’ve had in other hotels. Parking was so easy

A run-down , dreary and dirty city with a few exceptions, like Rogers Place, Stantec Tower, and the Oilers. Some homeless people , weirdos and drug addicts downtown. The only good thing about this place is the Oilers.

We were there specifically to view the university and environs for our daughter's undergraduate plans next year. The weather wasn't particularly great, but there seemed to be a positive air about the place and the university was alive with student activity. We visited Muttart Conservatory, but one of the exhibits was under renovation so a discounted entry fee was applied along with a free entry voucher for the zoo. Sadly, we didn't have enough time to take advantage of that, so we just enjoyed the conservatory, drove around the city, wandered the massive mall for a few hours, and then had to leave. I imagine the city must be quite different in the summer, but it was a pleasant visit, if only for 48 hours. I am sure we'll visit plenty more as our daughter embarks on her university education soon. Lots of great restaurants were spotted including a great Turkish restaurant near the West Ed Mall called Kebab Time (great food and service!) and on Whyte Avenue a place called The Arbour, a friendly little gem serving the best fried chicken sandwich along with some great pizza. All in all, a good first impression of the city.

Went for medical appointment that was close by the hotel.

Went for medical appointment that was close by the hotel. Stay was great but do not recommend the restaurant. My steak was so tough I had to return it to the kitchen…was absolutely dreadful. They did replace it with a better cut so kudos for that. My friend’s pasta/chicken dish had literally only about a quarter cup of sauce. It was very dry. She took it home to add sauce and cheese. Breakfast was great though! The room was very clean but a comfortable chair was missing. I would stay there again but would skip the restaurant.

The Edmonton I used to know no longer exists.

The Edmonton I used to know no longer exists. The streets are all tore up to add the LRT everywhere leaving many roads very narrow. Street cleaning is very poor and when you have narrow streets leading to downtown it’s like navigating a bob sled track in the winter. So much construction that the detours can get you lost in the rabbit Warren of trails. The Yellowhead is a nightmare and the roads I used to be able to turn onto to get to my usual destinations are blocked off and it now takes you extra time and mileage to get there.

I love being amongst the historic buildings and the Government buildings which are all situated right downtown. The City lights, old churches and large estate homes with huge snow laden trees that cause an umbrella overtop of them, create an air of nostalgia and peacefulness. Roger's Place Stadium is right down the street. The center of the City overlooks the river valley with its unique bridges, gorgeous parks and pathways. Edmonton is a perfect combination of old and new! A bustling city with quiet areas tucked away beneath it's towering skyscrapers and ancient trees. The challenge is in the amount of snow that falls in a short period of time which leaves streets narrowed due to the accumulation. That is to be expected in a northern Alberta City. WE LOVE EDMONTON! Thank you for another wonderful stay!

Building is quite new (July 2024), but after spending the night and looking at the finishes of the various rooms it appears the workmanship of the hotel is quite cheaply done and destined to age quickly. Breakfast was acceptable at best, all these hotel breakfasts are the same, from the same suppliers; warmed up frozen and pre-cooked eggs and meats. Staff were friendly. It is remarkably close to West Edmonton Mall if that is your objective, literally across the street from an entrance.

Great location to get to a good chunk of different places - Southgate Mall was 7 min, West Edmonton Mall was 18, Whyte Ave 11 min - and easy to get to by Whitemud. The area is nice and quiet, would do it again in a heartbeat.
