CanadaExtremely Spacious!!! The Suite Included amenities "Over-and-above Expectations" as well as on the deck! The Hostess was very friendly and informative. The View from our patio doors and the deck were absolutely amazing! WE LOVED Our Stay at Treetop in Haliburton. We will definitely pass the word on to our Friends and Family, encouraging them to enjoy the accommodations, scenery and Haliburton area!!!

CanadaThe cottage was perfectly located with lake view and access to lake for kayaking ans other activities. Beautiful deck to enjoy the lake view and share a cup of coffee with friends. Very close to all the city amenities grocery, , health supplies, restaurants, pubs and bars etc. Good neighbours with lots of privacy.

IndiaLakeside Motel in Haliburton is a hidden gem! The location is perfect, just across Grass Lake. The co-owners, Jag and Hansa, are incredibly welcoming and hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. We were especially touched by their thoughtfulness in providing a cot for our 3-month-old without prior notice. We loved the heated swimming pool. The barbecue facilities were a fantastic addition, making our evenings even more enjoyable. The highlight of the stay was the frequent deer sightings on the property! Lakeside Motel is a peaceful getaway with top-notch service and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. We'll definitely be returning!

IsraelEverything about the stay was above and beyond our expectations. Stouffer mill is just so unique and absolutely beautiful. The pool was amazing, the view is so calming. The owners were out of town , Pat was there to welcome us warmly and share information and recommendations. Thank you Pat!!

Unless you are really into nature this place isn't for you.
Unless you are really into nature this place isn't for you. You are surrounded by trails and trees taller than I'd ever seen. You must pay attention to the roads because they are very hilly and windy. There's barely any streetlights so if you're driving in the dark it's really dark! We went to Algonquin park and a few museums in the area. Gleb park has a fantastic sculpture forest! There's Kate's burger corner that's a great place for take out too!

Great lake views.
Great lake views. Restaurant on site but have to make reservation for breakfast. Good bed. Lots of water sports equipment on site. Stayed in king room in lodge. Room very very small. Holes in window screen stuffed with tissue so bugs got in... Whole property not good for even mild mobility issues. No handicap parking. Not great water pressure. No counter space in bathroom. Not enough towels. Wifi doesn't t really work. Be careful driving deer around even at parking lot entrance...good breakfast at Minden's 50 Diner. The Dominion Hotel in Minden good.

Haliburton is a small town with all the amenities you need...
Haliburton is a small town with all the amenities you need when visiting the area. There is a Tim Horton's near the entrance of the city. There is a couple of supermarkets and a Shoppers Drugmart.

The scenery is lovely especially in the fall.
The scenery is lovely especially in the fall. We were there Oct. 5,6,7th of 2021and the fall colours were fabulous.
In the town of Haliburton there were some interesting shops, at least 3 art galleries, a farmer's market on Tuesdays from 9 to 12 beside a good-sized parking lot that had free parking, washrooms that were very clean and open until 4 p.m. beside the parking lot. We really enjoyed the Haliburton Forest Sculpture Park on the grounds of the Haliburton School of Arts but it was a little hard finding it - poor signage - used my cell phone to figure out how to get there. There's an old train station beside the parking lot with an art gallery and in it you could get a map of the town. We didn't much care for the restaurants there.

This Motel has been at edge of Haliburton for at least 60 years, I've stayed before in the 80's. Rooms have been updated- light has USB outlets, new bathroom, flooring, windows. Windows could use better, wider, curtains for privacy. TV options were good. Way to expensive, however seems to be hotel industry trying to recoup from Covid. Great location to walk into town, stroll the lakefront, and park.

Beautiful Binnie View. Lovely chalet. Stunning setting. Convenient for Haliburton. Unfortunately restaurant was closed so didn't get to try it.
