Ceramic toilet seat was worn out, toilet chain for flushing kept falling off, my spouse had to fix it several times, no handicap rail beside toilet, 2 big dogs barking throughout my stay. People upstairs were loud. Otherwise the people we met were very friendly. My handicap room was 4-5 doors down the hallway

Have always liked Peterborough, going back to the 60's when...

Have always liked Peterborough, going back to the 60's when I was in the music business. Would be there once a week. Some really good spots to eat but a lot of the downtown core is desolate, especially Peterborough Square.

The Canadian Canoe Museum is fantastic and I highly recommend those visiting Peterborough, to visit this museum. It was a memorable experience, competing in The Head of the Trent rowing regatta. The scenery along the river is beautiful.

Peterborough is a nice place to visit with museums, plays, parks, waterways, boats, history venues, good restaurants, shopping, etc. I enjoyed my stay there and visited many little towns and their craft stores.

Good experience visiting sites including Trent University where our daughter graduated from. The weather was cold and windy so we did NOT get to the zoo. Down town is clean and there are good eateries.

New hotel, decorated very tastefully. Bedrooms very nice, comfortable beds with lovely quilts. Toiletries in the bathroom and lots of charging points beside the beds. Quiet area too. Remote controlled black out blinds were a plus.
