The restaurant attached to the resort, Free Bird, was excellent! Highly recommend. Our suite had everything we needed and was clean. Easy access to town.

CanadaCozy room with a reading nook area. Excellent view out the main window. Very quiet and comfortable. We stayed for one night before heading in to the Scandinavian spa. Epic mini trip. Also, the food at the restaurant & the beers were incredible. Would definitely do the trip again! Didn't use the sauna, but it looked great!

Squamish is a beautiful place surrounded by mountains and ocean views. We loved the outdoor activities, especially hiking the Chief and exploring Shannon Falls. The town has a relaxed, welcoming vibe with great cafés and local shops. It’s the perfect spot for anyone who enjoys nature and adventure.

To be honest did not see to much as it rained quite heavily...
To be honest did not see to much as it rained quite heavily so just had a rest day. When we did venture out it was for a walk along the river and to the good Japanese restaurant down the road, also the market up the road . So the large corner room was ideal, plenty of room and loved the bar area to look outside.

It was Canada day, we were looking for a restaurant, hard to find. As I turned off the pavement toward a place where some cars were parked, my car bottomed out, bam! I didn't see that drop coming. The city should never have such a drop off of pavement in town! I was too upset to stop and take a picture of it. I drove a short way and made sure my oil pan wasn't leaking......

We found it very touristy and trendy.
We found it very touristy and trendy. And even at this time of year the traffic was terrible. Having said that, we did enjoy our stay and would highly recommend The Watershed restaurant which sits right on Squamish River.

It's a lot less touristy and frenetic than Whistler - so...
It's a lot less touristy and frenetic than Whistler - so glad we stayed here and not there. Good variety of restaurants. And when the weather finally cleared the day we left we were able to get up the amazing Sea to Sky Gondola for fabulous views - it's jolly expensive and we only had time to do a couple of the short hikes - but still worth it. We also enjoyed driving out north and south to the various waterfalls and also discovering the Squamish Spit and Estuary - where we watched lots of otters frolicking.

Great place to base yourself if you are interested in the outdoors they have copious areas to go rock climbing, water rafting and also hiking, some of the most magnificent and breathtaking views over Grouse Lake can be seen from the many hiking trails in this area.

We used the hotel as a stopover on our way from Clearwater to Vancouver Island. The location is great alternative for the very busy/expensive Whistler. Staff was very friendly, did print off instructions on the closed roads caused by the Grand Fondo passing by which caused some delay and detour on our way to the ferry.
Eventhough the room was not very large, the way it was decorated it did give a very spacious feeling. The staff in the bar was equally very friendly. Yet we can recommend the pasta at pepe's only 15min walk away!

I loved the hotel. It is cozy, nice location, nice staff, easy access and easy check in and check out. The room was very nice, good temperature with a portable AC, great bed and bedding, very comfy night of sleep, it also included soap, makeup remover and towels in the washroom. The hotel also provides other items if requested, like hair drier and more. The wifi was great, the room has a TV, coffee machine, wine glasses and mugs. Overall great experience and I will certainly come back if I'm ever staying in Squamish again!

The location is perfect if you want to be downtown of Squamish. We stayed on a saturday and we were excepting to be loud, but it was really really ok. It's not a big room, but it was ok. The email instructions for the selfbooking were really good. I even received a phone call by the staff to make sure I felt confortable with those instruction.

Clean and comfortable rooms with nice A/C. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast had good variety of stuff you can put in the toaster plus cereals, yoghurts and fruit. The hotel waterslide is quite fast and the hot tub is great after a day out in the mountains. Great location for sightseeing and climbing in Squamish

It was super clean, as two females traveling together, we felt safe and welcoming.
It looks like the hotel underwent renovations, so even though it's an older hotel, it was very nice.
