Wonderful B&B! I was only here for a night and on a last minute stop but so glad I did. The property is a very large house but with just a few guest rooms, it felt much my own during my short stay. The room was well furnished with a fantastic bed, modern bath, good wifi and ample covers for a cold night. Breakfast in the morning was custom made for me and my diet (didn't expect that!) and delicious. And the place is just a few blocks from the coast and a short drive or moderate walk to restaurants and the pier which was fantastic to check out before departing.

This was only my second time in Whiterock - it’s like an...

This was only my second time in Whiterock - it’s like an oasis that is close to all the amenities of the big city - I feel like I’m on a far away vac as toon when I come here and it’s only a 6 hour drive from where my home is. Love Whiterock - makes you feel like you don’t have to spend a small fortune to go on vacation - I could easily spend a week here and not feel like ir was too long!

Very nice community with friendly people.

Very nice community with friendly people. Ate at wonderful Japanese restaurant, shopped in very well equipped supermarket. Seems like a very nice alternative in BC to the mega-city of Vancouver for those interested in a quieter life.

White Rock has a lovely promenade along the ocean with an attractive pier to walk out on. There is an interesting museum as well as several shops and restaurants along the prom. People are friendly, there are good shops and restaurants in the area and there is excellent public transport.

The place used to be a delight, but is now over built with high rises so has lost much of its charm. However, the beach front remains as it was years ago with lovely bars to hang out and look at the views. If you are visiting the Vancouver area and want a little less "urban", this is a good choice.

Great & unique restaurants in close proximity. The beach side walking path was beautiful. The Ocean Promenade Hotel was luxurious, spacious, clean, with beautiful ocean views. It is right along the beach and had excellent customer service. Already planning to return.

I have Family in White Rock and know the area well (unfortunately I was visiting for a memorial service which is why I did not stay with them on this occasion ).There are lovely walks down on promenade and pier and a good selection of restaurants there also.In Summer there are usually outdoor concerts at beach especially around Canada Day.I did not hire a car and White Rock is very easy to get to by public transport from Vancouver Airport plus getting to Vancouver itself is easy on public transport.The Semiahmoo Mall has a supermarket and several independent shops,the clothes stores tend to cater for older age group.Morgan Crossing which is easy to get to by bus has more varied selection of shops.White Rock is a pleasant seaside town to stay in for a few days or a week.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived a bit later than expected because of delays but the host was waiting and ready to show us to our room. We had choices for breakfast but chose a lighter option since we usually do not have a big breakfast. Food was good and well prepared. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for us and was in a quiet area adjacent to White Rock. We had to leave early to catch a ferry and so had a 7:30am breakfast waiting for us with coffee. No complaints.

We had a wonderful stay here. The host was extremely polite, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. We had complete privacy the entire time, but he was always just a message away whenever we needed anything. The unit itself was clean, cozy, and very comfortable — exactly what we were hoping for. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting White Rock.
