Ratio quality/comfort to price is excelent. Hotel staff is helpful, understanding and kind. Pizza next doors. Close to highway. Good parking. One of best 3star hotels i have visited... In my opinion this hotel has 4stars. 4th star is Julia.

I liked the hotel was clean and staff were lovely and it was a 5min walk to train station

The hotel is located in a picturesque area perfect for walking and hiking but just a short drive from supermarkets etc. The rooms are comfortable and we were greeted by friendly staff. The restaurant is exceptional, we often stay here when visiting the area and always make sure we have a dinner at the hotel, it is best to book as the restaurant is very popular.

The staff was very friendly and the location was near everything. Parking was also provided free of charge.

It worth the money. Good breakfast.

De kamers zagen er nieuw uit, ze waren erg schoon. Het personeel was vriendelijk.

I really felt at home as soon as I met the owners, who welcomed me and gifted me a 'welcome dinner.' The hotel reception is in the Chinese restaurant as you come in, and it is a beautiful setting with amazing food! I came to this location because it is close to St. Jakob event center in Basel, Switzerland. The bus stop is a 5-minute walk, and the train station is a 10-minute walk. There are several service businesses: salons, restaurants, and grocery stores. Even though my workshop absorbed my entire day, the owners were so kind to offer me a late-night snack from the restaurant with sparkling water for my room. I slept soundly in the most comfortable bed ever! The affordability, cleanliness, location, and the wonderful owners & staff made my stay a restful experience.

The hospitality of the staff and the convenience to its location

The room was spacious and stylish, the breakfast was quite diverse in terms of food offered and the location was very convenient for me; also the fact the members of a certain Swiss folk metal band to whose concert I travelled also stayed here says something I guess

Everything was just as it should be. Very helpful staff, room equipped enough for business trip, clean bathroom and awesome morning experience with cows ringins bells at field view from window! I can recommend this Hotel to everyone searching calm, peaceful place to spend night in Lausen.

Very tidy, neat, big rooms, secure

Everything! Great personalized service, extremely responsive Thoughtful staff Excellent room, very stylish furniture Great breakfast Nice fondue in chalet

Lovely experience in hotel Schiff my third year staying there wonderful helpful staff very clean great location . Thanks to all staff see you next year all going well.

Such a beautiful location, really friendly and helpful staff, and the spa/swimming area was amazing. Highly recommend!!

All great except for that I struggled to find the hotel room in the beginning. It would be desirable to provide a signpost somewhere or better explanation in the email.

We were provided with the late check in procedure details prior to arrival, as we were on a late flight... however here were still staff around when we got there. Check in was very quick and easy. We dropped our luggage in our room and went to the hotel bar for a couple of drinks. Service was great. Our room was excellent, spacious and clean. Location was great for what we needed... we were going to see an exhibition at the Fondation Beyeler which is less than 5 mins walk from the hotel. There's also a tram stop right outside the hotel and the trams are free with a BaselCard so we used the trams to get in to the city centre. Will definitely stay at this hotel again, it was amazing!

I booked this property for a second time for my German work colleagues who reported back that everything was perfect especially the breakfast and restaurant food in the evening.!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms.

Great location for a relaxing break

Location is great, bus + tram to get to city, approx 30mins. Nature is nice, very quiet place over Basel. Good WIFI signal, children playground.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood Muttenz. We stayed for three days. Hotel is just two minutes away is the station for tram 14, which takes you to the center for about 15-20 minutes. Near the hotel there is a supermarket, several fast foods and a bakery.

Very cozy hotel and friendly staff!

Wonderful service, great food, lovely decorated rooms and bathrooms -- and extremely accomodating management. I had made a booking mistake, booked one night too early. Hotel manager greenlighted applying the payment to our actual stay instead of charging us more. We're very pleased and will be glad to return to this place.
