We loved every moment at hotel Steinbock. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind. The food was great, we ate both nights in the hotel restaurant and the room was clean and welcoming. The spa is a clear highlight of our stay, where we were able to relax fully. The breakfast buffet was abundant and all the ingredients felt fresh. The lobby has an adjacent room to get coffee or tea which is very welcoming, ideal to unwind. I celebrated my 30th birthday and could not have wished for a better place.

The room was super cozy, nicely decorated (as the whole hotel), really clean. The hotel has an awesome wellness area with three saunas, a chill space with tea, water, and little snacks, plus an amazing view. Breakfast was included, and had a variety of delicious bread from their own bakery which is also worth visiting, as it offers some unique creations. Apart from bakery, there is also a very nice restaurant. The hotel is in a great spot, right by public transport (bus connection to the railway station and neighboring villages), shops, and the whole Engadin cross-country trail network, easy to reach on foot or by bus. They also have a skiing and waxing room, perfect for any cross-country skier. The owners and staff are super friendly, always there to help out with info or suggestions.

The building design and decor/furnishings quality throughout rooms and public spaces is outstandingly high. The staff are friendly and helpful and led by a Management who are on site abd welcome guests at dinner and are always visible in Reception. The Chef's daily menu and a la carte choices are imaginative, and healthy with a high reliance on local produce and producers/suppliers. The Spa are is extensive and Spa Treatments very high quality with very friendly and knowledgeable staff

Sunstar is an elegant hotel, very clean, great breakfast, beautiful view. I appreciate the room design, all the decoration, but on top of it I appreciate the smiles, the warmth of the people we interacted witth. Thank you, Sunstar Team! Great job! I rarely give 10.

Breakfast is excellent with huge assortment of foids for every taste catered for. There is safe Garage Parking at a very fair price.

A great hotel at Pontresina, the bed was very very comfortable, the room very clean and the staff war great. Overall a very good place to stay.

The staff were amazing and went out of their way to respond to questions and help us out. The rooms were really comfortable and had excellent bathrooms. They had emailed us before to find out the configuration of the rooms so it was great to find that our kids had a twin bedroom and not a double that often happens. You get a pass for the local transport with the hotel which was fantastic so we could travel around on the buses for free. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options for us to choose from. The hotel has access via its own underground tunnel to the local swimming pool with a fantastic outside heated pool. It wasn't too busy when we were there and a real treat for us and our daughter. They even arranged a free shuttle bus to the station on our last day which was brilliant.

Great personalized sweet greetings. Helpful staff. Nice pool. Tasty and differentiated breakfast. Hotel taxi - took us when when needed to Pontresina on time for free. Open interior kids playground.
