An absolutely perfect place to stay.
One tip - if you’re arriving by train from Tirano get off at Surovas, if the train stops there before Pontresina, it’s then a very short walk (less than 10 minutes) to the hotel.

United KingdomWe had a very particular stay which was broken down in the middle, but hotel staff was still more than accommodating about it. They even kept our luggage and car and deep cleaned the room during our absence. Everything else was great - we took a slightly larger room and it was very comfortable, even with things like free fruit and chocolates and some free drinks from the bar. It all feels quite new and well maintained and super clean. Staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast has great choice with different dietary requirements. It even has a (small, but practical) spa and location for access to everything else in town is great. Also good value for money!

The hotel certainly lives up to its billing as 'historic'. It is in a beautiful old building with wood-panelled rooms and many original features. My room was on the 4th floor with beautiful views of the mountains on the other side of the valley. The hotel is situated in the old part of the village but only 600 metres from the railway station. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful - especially the breakfast waiter who helped to get every day off to a good start.

Beautiful historic house in the peaceful valley of Bever, Gasthaus Spinas has comfortable bedrooms and excellent showers. A big big plus is that they are one of the very few in the region that accepts pets. The exceptionally friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more memorable.

Loved our stay at the Bever Lodge. Super nice hotel, we really liked the style. The personnel is very friendly and we were lucky to be there at a time that they were having a special dinner buffet with meat specialties from the region. Great breakfast as well!

The Inn was rustic and charming. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The lobby area and sitting room were lovely and inviting. The hotel was close to trails and within easy walking distance to the train station.
We all loved our stay here!
