We arrived by train and the hotel was an easy walk from the train station, even with our luggage. The room was clean and nicely furnished and the bathroom was very large and comfortable. The room was not overly large but that was not a problem because we were not planning to spend much time in the room. The restaurant was right downstairs and the breakfast was amazing, lots of food to select from and lots of variety. Kept us going until dinner. The staff was great and helped us with any questions that we had. The location was great for exploring all areas of Luzern and we walked everywhere. Our stay at the Anker did provide us with free rides on the city trams, which we tried out near the end of our stay - we rode the tram back to the train station with our luggage and that worked well.
