I had a truly wonderful stay at Stadthof Glarus. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel is located in a beautiful spot right in the center of Glarus, making it easy to explore the town and enjoy the stunning mountain views. The rooms have been recently renovated and it really shows—everything felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The combination of modern comfort and classic charm made for a very relaxing stay. One of the absolute highlights was the service. Every member of the staff was exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful. Whether it was providing local recommendations or making sure I had everything I needed, they went above and beyond. The hotel’s restaurant deserves special mention. The menu offers a great variety, but the Lebanese food in particular was outstanding. It’s not something you expect to find in the Swiss Alps, but it was genuinely some of the best I’ve had—full of authentic flavors and clearly made with care. The hummus, falafel, and grilled dishes were all amazing. Overall, Stadthof Glarus exceeded my expectations. It’s a perfect mix of comfort, hospitality, and great food in a charming location. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We loved this accommodation and it far exceeded our expectations. We even wanted to stay longer. To begin with, the journey to this accommodation is beautiful, passing through mountains surrounded by waterfalls. It's a very pretty area. The apartment is very well located in Glaris Süd, next to the river. The owners of the apartment are very friendly and respond immediately to any questions or requests you may have, which makes the trip very enjoyable and comfortable, especially when you are traveling from so far away and feel a little lost. We really felt at home here, and I am personally grateful to the accommodation. We have nothing but good things to say about the apartment. Everything is super clean, every detail is taken care of, and there are rules and instructions throughout the house in case you don't know how to use something. It has absolutely everything, even things we never imagined would be there. They even tell you to wear sandals that they provide to keep the place clean (which shows how clean and well-kept the place is). Every corner of the house is great: the bathroom is very clean and has everything you need, the kitchen has everything you need and more, the living room is very comfortable and nicely decorated, and the bedroom and bed are very comfortable. The accommodation also has free private parking right outside the door. To check in, we just had to enter a code at a locker by the door, and the same for checking out (which was also very convenient). Finally, I'd like to highlight something we really liked and found original: the accommodation makes small handmade souvenirs for your home that you can buy during your stay. (I want to clarify another question I've seen in other reviews, which is that the apartment is a comfortable temperature, but you can adjust it with the radiators provided, for which the owners have included instructions for use). In conclusion: this apartment is wonderful, I highly recommend staying...
