Everything about the Hotel was excellent. The location was stunning, great parking, well equipped and comfortable room with stunning views. Both the evening meal and breakfast taken outside on a terrace overlooking the lake and alps in the background, were excellent . The staff were excellent too with attentive hosts and Olga the breakfast waitress is an asset, welcomong, friendly, attentive and excellent at her job.

It's a nice hotel a bit outside of Murten in a very small village. The room was great and very quiet. There is also a 'kitchen area' with a fridge and a microwave. There was a mix up with our payment - probably because of a system issue - they responded quickly (we were able to reach someone from their team immediately - via the phone number provided in the 'reception area' - and were helped at once).

If you want to feel like a resident of the old city, then this place is exactly for you. The building is under state protection and much has been preserved here from old times. I really liked my stay, it was very unique. The owner and personal are super friendly! Welcome drink was a very nice surprise 😋

Situated in the middle of nature but very well accessible by car, boat or bike. A perfect getaway! Very friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, silent during the night. Bird life center right next to it. Dinner was excepionally good as well, would defenitely recommend it!

Excellent connections to Bern and French-speaking...

Excellent connections to Bern and French-speaking Switzerland. Three lakes nearby, with Lake Murten just an 8-minute walk away. We'll definitely book this accommodation again on our next visit to Switzerland! We ate at La Gare in Faoug and at the shipyard restaurant right on the lake.

A great place to explore the area.

A great place to explore the area. Despite a lot of rain, I was able to cycle for two days. Around the lake and then take the ferry to Neuchatel. The roads are excellent, with everything nearby: restaurants, shops, etc. The train passes right in front of the studio, but it's a bit noisy.
