- very good breakfast - staff very polite and helpful: we wanted to switch the breakfast from the last day to the first one since we had very early flights and they accomodated our request. I really appreciated the openess to help put and it really made a difference. - location in a quite neighbourhood, 7 min walking from the train station. It was perfect because we traveled to other cities.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the train station and public transportation, and the Old Town is easily accessible via public transportation. Breakfast and the lunch buffet are both reasonably priced and offer exceptionally high-quality meals. The staff were friendly and efficient, and a water purifier provided for convenient drinking water. I would stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Basel.

Wonderful service, great food, lovely decorated rooms and bathrooms -- and extremely accomodating management. I had made a booking mistake, booked one night too early. Hotel manager greenlighted applying the payment to our actual stay instead of charging us more. We're very pleased and will be glad to return to this place.
