The apartment was quite spacious, with comfortable beds, and excellent amenities. The kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to prepare meals while we were there. The supplies(s.g. Detergent, TP) were stocked as well which isn’t typical from my experiences. The patio was an awesome place to relax after multiple activities during the day. Having the bus stop right out the back door was very convenient.

    Gorgeous little village, very accessible, and a good base to explore the surrunding places like Wengen, Murren, Jungfrau, etc. BEWARE that everything closes early!!! Super market shuts at 6:00 pm, and all restaurants shut down at 9 pm. The only place that will serve you after 8:00 pm is Horton Pub, which is very good.

    Beautiful Staubbach falls and the surrounding areas. Expensive restaurant food but Coop near the train station is an excellent option. The restaurant staffs near Staubbach falls/ camping ground were not friendly and a lot of flying black flies inside the restaurants, the reason we left the restaurant. They put us near the flies trapper. Toilet near the Lauterbrunnen train station is free.

    Lauterbrunnen was a good base to explore the area. It is well connected by train or gondola, and by hiking paths to other towns in the area. It was not as big as Grindelwald but this made for a very peaceful stay.

    Great place to stay the night if you’re traveling between places. Just a charming little village! If you decide to stay the evening, the waterfall is lit up and the town is very quiet. The food is expensive here, but good. Just know that if you’re eating in town. The waterfall is just stellar.

    Magnificent views from every angle.

    Magnificent views from every angle. Plenty to see and do in this area. Found a great restaurant at the caravan park. We went two nights in a row, make sure you book. The Chef made the difference when experiencing Swiss cuisine. Walk, hire a bike or take a train it's easy to get around and to the main attractions. eg.Jungfraujoch.

    Lauterbrunnen is a beautiful little town in a great location...

    Lauterbrunnen is a beautiful little town in a great location with many activities/adventures all around it. Staubbach Falls is a huge waterfall viewable throughout the valley and mountains above. The trains and cable cars to nearby mountain tops and villages are super convenient. Three days in Lauterbrunnen is just enough to see the valley, the mountains to the east, and the mountains to the west. Don't drive--take the train!

    I loved the location of where the hotel was situated in Lauterbrunnen. We had the most beautiful scenic views from Hotel Schutzen Lauterbrunnen and to have the incredible back drop of Stqubbach waterfall right behind our hotel. Hotel was 5 mins from the train station and Coop supermarket. The Hotel Schutzen restaurant served delicious food! Excellent service from the waitress Viola at the restaurant, she was very friendly, helpful and the service she provided was above and beyond.

    Everything! The location was amazing, the facilities were amazing, the staff were amazing. Never had a hostel with a trampoline out the back that you can jump on while viewing waterfalls. Johnny, one of the team, is one of the most helpful receptionists I’ve seen to date. You’ll never find a better hostel shower than the ones here. If you’re going to Switzerland and staying at a hostel, this is the one you choose!

    A charming hotel, very close to Lauterbrunnen train station and a perfect base to explore the region. We stayed in a Holz Valley View room which had beautiful views over the valley including Staubbach Falls. The room was fresh and modern - more than I would normally expect from a 3-star hotel. Lovely helpful staff complete the picture. We would happily stay again.
