It provides, for a relatively modes sum, the full experience of travelling inside Eastern Europe during Soviet times. Consider it more of a full immersion living gulag museum, than a budget hotel. It was a pleasure and also an honor to stay in a castle with a so long history. We liked the kindness of the hosts, the great parking opportunities and travelling with a dog it was nice to have dog friendly walking areas nearby.

I liked the rooms, they connected to each other so we could be with our kids together. The rooms were also big and comfortable, as well as the bathrooms. We loved the huge swimming pool and the Spa area. One of the best things are the sports classes like Pilates, Yoga and Aquafit in the mornings. We also could get the entrance tickets to Conny-land directly onsite and have a nice walk there and back to the hotel. And lastly, but also very important, the food in the restaurant was really delicious and the staff of the restaurant and of the hotel were very nice and helpful. Thank you to all the team for such a nice experience.

We had a wonderful stay! Heidi and Urs were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we really enjoyed spending some time with them during our visit. The location is fantastic, peaceful, and with a truly fascinating view of the Alps. The whole experience felt very warm and welcoming. We would gladly come back again!
