It provides, for a relatively modes sum, the full experience of travelling inside Eastern Europe during Soviet times. Consider it more of a full immersion living gulag museum, than a budget hotel. Everything, from the aneamic shower, to the harsh lighting, the level of surveillance, and the incredible removal of anything that might be considered as a comfort feature, shows a level of attention to detail that is admirable.

It was a pleasure and also an honor to stay in a castle with a so long history. We liked the kindness of the hosts, the great parking opportunities and travelling with a dog it was nice to have dog friendly walking areas nearby.

We had a wonderful stay! Heidi and Urs were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we really enjoyed spending some time with them during our visit. The location is fantastic, peaceful, and with a truly fascinating view of the Alps. The whole experience felt very warm and welcoming. We would gladly come back again!

I was warmly welcomed by a very kind lady who made me feel at home right away. The location is stunning and feels extremely safe, which gave me peace of mind during my short stay. The place itself is spotless — everything is well taken care of and very clean. It really shows that a lot of attention is given to keeping the accommodation comfortable and pleasant. Unfortunately, I was only passing through and couldn’t stay longer, but I truly would have loved to. It’s the kind of place where you can easily see yourself relaxing for more time. Highlights: Very friendly and welcoming host Safe and beautiful surroundings Exceptionally clean accommodation Ideal for both short and longer stays

The rooms were basic but comfortable for my work trip. The breakfast cafe shared by the hotel and the staff in there were excellent. Had a room for ironing boards irons spare plugs to your appliances could be used . Good central location
