Great location to stop for the night on a multi day journey. Off the motorway enough to be quiet and enjoy the scenery and also not a chain hotel which I try to avoid. Room was quiet and very pleasant. The breakfast was fantastic.

I liked the rooms, they connected to each other so we could be with our kids together. The rooms were also big and comfortable, as well as the bathrooms. We loved the huge swimming pool and the Spa area. One of the best things are the sports classes like Pilates, Yoga and Aquafit in the mornings. We also could get the entrance tickets to Conny-land directly onsite and have a nice walk there and back to the hotel. And lastly, but also very important, the food in the restaurant was really delicious and the staff of the restaurant and of the hotel were very nice and helpful. Thank you to all the team for such a nice experience.

The location was wonderful, there are no beaches, but you can get in the water through docks with stairs. The lake is so clear! Unfortunately, we were in one of the few rooms with no balcony and no view. There was construction going on a property a few houses away so this woke us up if we had the window open. There are lots of jogging/walking trails and places to chill by the water. It's worth the expense for a special occasion as a middle-class person, it is on the very expensive side. For the two nights, we stayed there, we did feel like royalty.

A unique experience!!! It was the first time that we stayed as a family in a camping and it was the best choice we could have made!!! The atmosphere was amazing, the place magical, the wagons really cozy, clean and nice decorated. There is a fully equipped kitchen, but you have the barbeque choice as well. there is a small store where you can buy food, bread etc. Make a long walk to Stein em Rhein, following the riversite path..

We spent two nights here.

We spent two nights here. The shops seemed to be more expensive than in Germany. Travel on trains also more expensive. We got Bodensee cards for travel in Germany. However it is a pretty area and felt very safe walking around at night.

As absurd as it may sound for a hotel in Switzerland, the owner had forgotten about our reservation! Even though we had explicitly informed him about our arrival time! We waited a long time to be accommodated in our room. VILLA TAEGERMOOS is literally on the border between Germany and Switzerland. But it is still in Switzerland. As citizens of the European Union, we were checked for a long time to get to the hotel.....

It is a small nice city.

It is a small nice city. The weather was windy but I believe in a sunny day it can be more beautiful. The lake side is very nice and clean. The best part for who is coming from Germany, the ferry transport. It is very easy to reach Friedrichshaf by train from all the cities in Germany. And they are ferries to reach Romanshorn.

Frauenfeld is a charming little city.

Frauenfeld is a charming little city. I loved how clean, safe and beautiful it was. My room had a view of a nearby castle. People were sitting at nearby outdoor cafes at night and enjoying a leisurely meal. My walk at night around Frauenfeld was a true joy!

We only had one night while travelling through to the Alps.

We only had one night while travelling through to the Alps. We chose the location because it was 4 hrs drive from our one week mountain hotel. I was surprised that anyone can go for a swim.in the lake for free. So good that Hotle/Pizzeria Rotes Hays is only 500m from the shore!

Near the Lake, easy access to the main roads going south and only a few minutes drive to the ferry to cross the lake.Train station nearby. Easy access to the lake for swimming & boating, cycle paths. Nice countryside location.
