Mi Casa is a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it. We arrived early, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. They gave us coffee, and prepared our room so that we could check in early. The hotel is beautiful, and warm with lots of nice woodwork. Beautiful views of the volcano and town, and just a few minutes walk from markets and the waterfront. Staff were incredibly warm and friendly.

The grounds were lovely, with a road you could take to a pebble beach. Our accommodations were nice and the location was good, although you need a car to get into town. Suppers are available sometimes and are very good. Our hosts were lovely - welcoming and accommodating.

This place just opened and is in a brand new house. It is so clean and new! The couple running it are so nice and welcoming. The husband speaks fluent English and the wife is Columbian, so I could understand her Spanish easier than the Chileans! The breakfast was great, with eggs and sausage and bread. I paid extra for dinner, and the dessert was homemade and really good! The dinner was good too. But yum the dessert! I would recommend this place. Such nice hospitality! I didn’t give the highest rating for Location only because you can’t really walk to town.

Chaitén a lovely little town.

Chaitén a lovely little town. Its volcanic history is awe inspiring. Really interesting. Lots of places closed though, and it’s summer!! Seems a bit like a ghost town at weekends. The Patagonia green tour company well worth a visit, a great tour to the volcano and waterfall.

Due to no fault of our own, our travel arrangements change drastically meaning we would be arriving to the hotel at 2 am. Even though we were the only guests, Vanessa waited up for us and welcomed us with a smile. Considering there are no other hotels open anywhere near – we are extremely grateful for her kindness. The room is extremely comfortable with an ensuite and luxurious beds and bedding. The pictures do not do it justice and there was a delicious warm breakfast waiting for us in the morning too

The hotel is much nicer than in the pictures. The location at the lake is very impressive. The hotel has a great -almost Alpine- vibe. The fish in the restaurants comes from the lake itself and they catch it themselves. But what I liked most was the staff: very professional and cool at the same time. That’s especially true for the young woman at breakfast and dinner.

I really enjoyed staying here. Such a wonderful family with great character! Francisco met from the bus and dropped me off at the bus stop when I left Chaiten. The cabin is really comfortable with lots of natural light. Any questions I had were quickly answered. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Very nice, large room and well located in nature. Close to Chaitén city and directly on the street when arriving in Caleta Gonzalo by ferry.
