This is the best place you can stay in the Bahia Solano area.

My stay at the Casa Azul with the owner Daniel has been one of my best travel experiences ! The house and garden are located on the edge of the village, next to the forest and a few minutes walk from Elmejal beach. You truly disconnect from the modern world (even though there is good wifi). It's rustic and authentic, so give yourself time to enjoy it !

An untouched paradise of jungle and ocean. The town is rustic but once you settle in you'll understand that the stress free lifestyle and vibe is worth dealing with dirt roads, no A/C, and one item menu options.

El Valle is a very small town close to the beach.
El Valle is a very small town close to the beach. You can buy basic groceries and find little restaurants that sells lunch (usually fish, rice, salad and patacónes). There is also a pool and billiards hall that cost 1.500COP (about 50cents) per game! There’s also an amazing bakery and homemade icecream shop in front of people’s homes. The locals are very nice and friendly.

El Valle has one of the best beach in Bahia Solano called El Almejal. There is other one called Playa Larga where you can get by motorcycle or walking through the town. To watch the whales and do other activities you have to rent a boat with local people and negotiate directly with them to get you to other spots such as Parque Utria, Juribida, Rio Tundo and El Tigre Waterfal. Food is good and cheap, mostly tuna.
