My wife and I stayed there for two nights at the end of February. We received a very warm welcome. The deluxe rooms are also very good and clean. We were there primarily for bird photography. We especially enjoyed being so close to the macaws and other birds. The peaceful atmosphere of the lodge, nestled in nature, was also a big plus. For dinner, we had pizza and beef burgers, both of which we highly recommend. We took excursions to Carara National Park and two boat trips on the Tarcoles River. These were also fantastic for birdwatchers, especially at sunset. A hike along the beach to the mouth of the Tarcoles River, with its numerous pelicans and various gulls, was also a great experience. So, if you're looking for a lodge in nature with plenty of birds to observe, this is an excellent choice.

We had an incredible experience! The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking – waking up to the lush greenery and scenic landscapes was a highlight. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What made it even more special was the abundance of wildlife around.
