This property is just a 3 minute walk from Tamarindo beach, and features an outdoor pool in a tropical setting. There is free WiFi throughout the property, and daily housekeeping. We really enjoyed our stay. The bed was small, but extremely comfortable, we slept great. The location was perfect, central to everything. The pool was a nice temperature, enough to cool off on a hot day, but not too cold. Breakfast was different everyday. Staff was so friendly and helpful, they even arranged a driver to take us to playa Conchal.

The staff were very helpful with booking excursions and getting to and from places. Overall anything we needed help with they was more than happy to help with. The pool area was relaxing and the kitchen came in handy to make our breakfast every morning. We bought anything we needed from the super market literally 1 minute walk away and used the fridge in the room for storing snacks/ fruit & drinks in. Great location close to all the restaurants and bars of Tamarindo town… and 3 minute walk to Playa Tamarindo. Our room was tended to everyday and the A/C & fan was needed to escape the heat.

Ten North Tamarindo Beach Hotel was the perfect place for us because of the beautiful people who worked there. Tamarindo is quite expensive for dining, groceries but is comparable to the prices in Canada and the US. Food is much better quality as the fruits and vegetables are garden fresh if you shop local or the markets.

Lot's of drug trafficking! Would not want to stay there for a long period of time! Can be dangerous Columbian Cartels pushing drugs and Prostitution. Be careful at night stay close to well lit and active restaurants ! Go back to lodging early!!!

If you like action and activities (day and night) this is the place for you. We found the food to be quite expensive compared to other places. Great place to learn to surf….the instructors were very good and the crowds were not excessive. There was plenty of room on the beach. Overall we felt very safe here….although we tend to end our evenings early.

We did not use a car and found everything we needed within walking distance. There are ample dining venues on the beach and on the street as well. Many have live music. Our favorite was La Appetito run by an Italian family...awesome sandwiches and great breakfasts. The Breaking Bread Bakery is not to be missed.

Nice surf resort for a few days, but get back home on time and stay away from the beaches at night. This is not a very safe town anymore, especially at night!!! Armed robberies take place at nights on te beaches, and policy doesn't doe anything about it. This town has at least 2 faces. 1. The happy surf town, with lots of surf fun, drugs (every kind you wants gets offered a lot, more than in Amsterdam!!!) and dancing. 2. high criminality numbers, be safe and smart!

Very noisy place either the guests on the second level or the main gate being slammed at all times of day, early use of leaf blower, staff knocking on patio sliding door and waking you up to find out if you want your room cleaned at 9 am. Would not recommend.

I travel a lot and I don't think I've met friendlier or more helpful hosts at this hotel. Due to a shortage of rental cars throughout Costa Rica, I was without transportation when I arrived at the hotel. Jeffrey and Shirley gave me a ride to downtown Tamarindo and even took time from their busy schedule to provide a personal tour of the town. Shirley even arranged an Uber taxi for me to travel to my next stop at Coco Beach. They are renovating the hotel and it is now modern, clean and reasonably priced.

The best part of this hotel is probably its location. It is close to a lot of the action in Tamarindo and has a lot of restaurants nearby. I particularly like how close it is to La Oveja, a cozy bar filled with plants and good vibes and live music. In the hotel they also offered live music which was a fun touch if you wanted some extra life at night without going into the town. The pool area is also a good option for when you want to enjoy the weather comfortably and chill.

They arranged a transport that picked us up, next we had breakfasts under a mango tree with fresh Mangos, a chill out area with hammocks, also nice surf lessons and a beautiful Sunset. The Tsunami Hostel and it’s team will go out of its way to fulfill everything you might ask for. I lost my E-Book there and they even sent it after me. Muchas Gracias para todos y pura vida!

The unit is really nice and has basically a private pool. Casa Wasabi is located close enough to the busy Tamarindo thorough fair while being far enough away to remain peaceful.

This is our 4th time in Costa Rica and this is the best hotel we ever stayed at. It is a beautiful, modern, spotless hotel walking distance to the beach. You can't beat the location. The pool is half-olympic size, amazing! The rooms are huge, with comfy beds. the bathroom is the biggest (and cleanest:) I have found in Costa Rica. The modern kitchen really helps when you dont feel like going out. We will definitely be back next year .

Great location to the rest of Tamarindo, fairly short walk to all the shopping, restaurants and the beach. The Red Dor that's connected is AMAZING. best food and drinks around.
