Night frog tour and birdwatching with the owners who are both very inteligent and nice people was great. Breakfast with birdwatching is really something we will allways remember. Not only we enjoyed our short stay there very much but thanks to the owners we could find much more animals on the trails during the rest of our stay in Costa Rica. We stayed at 7 different places in Costa Rica but this was definitely the most remarkable.

The location, the staff whom were super helpful. The rooms and place was clean. The place had a river at the back running thru and we saw sloths in the morning.

The location is in the centre but at really peacefil and quiet place. Beautiful garden full of birds, we saw a sloth and armadillo. Staff is very helpful and kind

Everything was perfect: the room, the gardens, the pools and the staff. It’s a very nice hotel, perfect for those who want to relax and stay in contact with nature. Since we traveled with our 1 year-old baby, we decided to have diner at the hotel restaurant the 3 nights we were there. Food was delicious, service was very good and prices were correct. The room itself was big and very comfortable.

The free breakfast was delicious and a huge bonus! Pool is gorgeous, location is perfect. Free parking. Clean rooms with AC and Netflix! Staff was very nice. Thank you Arenal Rabfer!

Breakfast wasn’t enough for vegetarian

A truly quiet and peaceful place — the owner has thought of everything. You’ll find all you need while being surrounded by nature. The host takes great care of every detail and communication was excellent throughout.

Really nice accommodation. Cris on reception was fantastic and helped me book some great trips and had some great recommendations for local restaurants. Great air conditioning in the bedroom. The best place I stayed in during my three weeks in Costa Rica

Super clean hotel in the city center close to many attractions. The Bogarin park and trail is in walking distance and highly recommendable, we saw a lot of animals with our guide. The owner is a very kind, attentive and helpful person. We also used the kitchen and the fridge. We can highly recommend this hotel.

There is no breakfast. It’s a new hotel so super clean and comfortable. The property feels secure as there is a gate that is locked at 6pm - only guests have the code. As two females this was important to us. And we walked everywhere in La Fortuna town from here very easily. Go to the chocolate shop! There is a great view of the Arenal volcano from the shared kitchen area.

Great location close to all the bars and restaurants so plenty to do on the night. All the tours we did also picked up from this location which was a nice plus. Breakfast is very good and starts early which is good as most of the tours are an early start. You also get a discount for some of the local restaurants if you stay here.
