Great staff… excellent location

I absolutely loved the view from my room. I stayed solo in the quadruple family room and would definitely recommend upgrading if you want to indulge yourself. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. You’re on the top floor of a hotel already perched at the top of Mindelo, so the view is spectacular, and the light that fills the room is simply divine. You can watch both the sunrise and sunset from your bed or balcony. The swimming pool area is also beautiful and incredibly relaxing. I didn’t use the pool, but it was very quiet and peaceful up there on the sun lounger. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

This is a really well-thought-out hotel. Everything was spotless, and the room had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are not large, but they are very cosy and cleverly designed, with every detail carefully considered. We especially loved the modern touches - for example, the bedside table with built-in wireless charging was a lovely and unexpected extra. Overall, it feels like a place that genuinely cares about guests’ comfort, and it made our stay nice and easy

Excellent location in the heart of Mindelo, making it perfect for exploring the area while still feeling comfortable and relaxed. The staff were exceptionally friendly, warm, and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was also great, offering a variety of options. Highly recommended!

This was hands down the best hotel experience of my life, and this is coming from someone who has traveled around the world since childhood. The owner and her staff are so dedicated, kind, helpful, and beyond. You will feel right at home and extremely safe. The staff was giving us advice on where to go, what to visit, and where to eat. For instance, they even helped us with dinner reservations when we had issues. In summary, (because I could go on and on): the breakfast is exquisite, the rooms are so well decorated (the pictures don't give them justice), the owner and her staff are the kindest people. I went to other hotels in Mindelo and they do not compare to what Kira's has to offer. Two words: Book it

Really nice small hotel. Good clean facilities, great breakfast and nice pool area. Staff are really friendly and helpful. There is a gate providing a shortcut to the beach, and the restaurant just outside the gate provides really great food. Easy to walk around Mindelo from the hotel, and it is close to the port for the ferry to Santo Antao.

Hip, central, relaxed and mega

I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Hotel Lazareto, and it truly felt like a home away from home for me. The breakfasts were nice, with such generous portions that I often packed a little something to enjoy during my day trips around the area. Exceptional Staff and Comfort The owners couldn’t have been kinder or more attentive—always a friendly face at reception ready to help with a smile and engaging conversation. My room was clean, with reliable hot water every time, making everything feel comfortable and welcoming. Peaceful Location Nestled in a quiet village spot, it’s about a 30-40 minute walk along the shore to Mindelo, which I loved as a relaxing way to start the day away from city hustle. Very kind staff, perfect location and the best and most diverse breakfast we had at Cabo Verde.

We recently stayed at SC Boutique Hotel for 6 days and would not hesitate to recommend it. Our room was clean, chic, and spacious, as was the whole hotel. It’s centrally coated, but not too loud at night. Close to the marina, restaurants, and markets (clothes, fresh produce, fish). Nice roof deck for reading or sunning. We even used the hot tub. The service was very friendly and professional, from front desk (thank you, Vanderleigh and Elody and more!) to the kitchen staff, doormen, and housekeeping. We appreciated the friendly vibe and the tour that was organized for us.

Centrally located, walking distance to ferries. Very good breakfast with freshly baked bread and good coffee.

Restaurant - Food was amazing 👏🏽

I stayed 7 days and had the whole apartment on the second floor. It's large balcony in front of apartment. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is very good; short walking distance to both beach and the city center. Nice Breakfast. 🙂 Not so many facilities, but remember the price.☝️ If you want luxury, you must pay for it too.
