Peristerona (Near Lyso)
Set amid a fragrant garden with roses, fruit trees and fountains, Rose Garden Villa Peristerona is a 3-bedroom villa in Peristerona Village, Paphos. The villa was perfect in every way, had it everything we needed as a family of 6 adults and one child. It was well maintained and very clean throughout. The garden was magnificent and it added to the ethnicity of the villa. There was plenty of seating areas in the shade and sun to suit everyone! The pool was gated off which was a bonus and made the villa very child friendly. The villa has a barbecue and we used it most of the holiday. The villa is situated in a quaint village and there’s a local shop and cafe, a ten minute drive to polis there are plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes, supermarket and latchi beach. The owner John made us feel very welcome and he checked in throughout the week to ensure everything was ok! We couldn’t recommend a better villa it was fantastic.

What a beautiful village!!! Absolutely loved it! Reminds me of the old Cyprus i cherish!!! The altitude makes the temperatures just right, the lush vegetation and the beautiful continuous sound of birds chirping make it an ideal place for relaxation!
A beautiful green village on the edge of a pine forest. A good location for nature lovers, 20min driving to a well known forest park and 15 min driving to a beautiful beach. Small villages around to be explored, nature paths in the forest to be walked. Best time to visit is Spring. A place to relax and enjoy nature. Very good climate.
We drank at the Lyso cafe on arrival, and were given complementary cake, then dinner there was fabulous. Lots of little roads to explore and a pretty environment. We went horse riding nearby on our previous visit, which was wonderful, but we didn't have time for that on this visit, just enjoyed the travelling around the area, hills, views and interesting villages.
We visited here as part of a group for a wedding. The views are amazing and lots of opportunity for some great pics. The village has an authentic feel to it, even though it's quite new. I would travel here again, anytime.
Lysos is a bit difficult to get to if you don't have a hire car but was worth the bus and taxi ride. The mountains around Lysos are superb with plenty of sights to see. We walked to an abandoned village (about 30mins walk from Lysos). There are two cafe's in the village and the Paradissos Hills Hotel which is definitely worth a visit.
Lysos is a very well kept village. Our stay was too small to explore the village taverns but it is half an hour by car from Polis with very good taverns and restaurants. Plenty of site seeing and beautiful sunsets.
