The food was tasty, flavorful, varied. We stayed here 5 days and besides sweets and other 2-3 dishes, everything was new (during lunch and dinner) The pool was nice and clean. There were enough sun beds just around the pool. We actually stayed on canopy every time we went to the pool (even though we went after breakfast or later in the afternoon; nothing was prebooked) From beach side of the hotel you can see an amazing sunrise and I was able to see an astonishing sunset from by balcony. The staff was really nice and friendly, polite and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, very comfortable bed, with a very nice design. The bathroom was well organized and spacious. As in most of the country, there is not a sandy beach just in front of the hotel but you have two options. 1. There is a very flat area, having even a ladder so you can safely and easily go into the water, even though there isn’t sand. 2. The hotel is offering a shuttle ride to a beach nearby.

First of all staff was great. Daphne was the best source of information and always helpful. Girls serving breakfast were also great and helpful (girl with the tatoos and Lithuanian girl). Modern boutique hotel close to the main promenade. Rooms spacious and clean with all facilities you need. Breakfast was delicious. We also tried the food in Mingle bistro open to the public, also great. They allowed us early check in and they stored our luggage on the day of the departure. Everything was great!

A few kilometers from the busy, noisy and smelly Protaras, this place was a real gem, with stunning open space facing the sea and beautiful palm tree garden. There is a path next to the sea where we were able to walk kilometers in the evenings. Our room on the 4th floor had comfy beds, we had a really good sleep and were fully relaxed. Large and 3.15m deep outdoor pool, good cocktails at the pool bar as well. The food - not the high end meals, but we were able to find something to try each time, especially if it was local (souvlaki, keftedes, tzatziki, anari cheese). The entertainment- we enjoyed Mariya's night the most. Many thanks to the menagment for the birthday wishes received in advance and despite I was leaving the hotel that day. Small details with big impression!

This facility offered everything I wanted from an accommodation. Central location next to main bus routes, spotless clean, big room &bathroom. The breakfast offered the most wide selection of food from eggs, beans, bacon to a variety of cheese, olives and fried nibbles to a variety of fruit and jams to a variety of cereals. In addition to the usual hot drinks and cold juices, they had a dispenser of hot milk. Friendly, professional and always smiling staff at the reception. Special services offered were pool towels rent, an iron &iron board at the floor for clients use and a late check out for 25euro. Ah, also: SILENT AC BUTTON OPTION!!

Lovely breakfast and also the dinner at the tavern was excellent, staff was amazing, very attentive and friendly. Beautiful accomodation overall. A car is handy to get around the area and visit some nice beaches and cultural highlights that are close. We were able to soak up some sun at the pool beds even in November. Highly recommend staying here.

Clean sea, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Excellent cuisine, excellent breakfasts. Right on the beach at the hotel you can rent a motor boat, catamaran or windsurfing. The hotel also has a good bike rental, there are even a few road bikes. Anassa is a place where you want to return.

Whilst in Paphos the weather was glorious so we walked for miles along the coast and visited the old town. If weather not good not sure what one would do. We also visited the Tombs of the Kings which was interesting and beautiful raptor walk around. Loads of places to eat. Lovely place to chill and relax.

Laid back meditteranean atmosphere. Municipal Art Gallery next to Hotel had wonderful exhibition on. So much to see with the medieval castle and flamingo salt lake among other sites. Larnaka has been selected as the next EU Cultural Capital of Europe for 2026.

I liked other beaches better than the one directly outside...

I liked other beaches better than the one directly outside my hotel but visiting the other beaches was phenomenal - despite the weather. It was off-season and very quiet as it was December. It was nice to go and we enjoyed it but we were using the holiday to assess this area of Cyprus for relocation so we weren't in true holiday mode. The weather was absolutely atrocious with a storm and driving rain (4-14 Dec 2025) and quite cold so it curtailed some of our visits to view things. We popped across to Paphos for 3 days and the sun came out - albeit a minor earthquake happened - and we enjoyed it more to be honest. There were more things to see and do. I suspect we only enjoyed it more because the weather was warmer. Visiting off-season you'll find many things are closed as they are built around tourists for the most part. There was still enough restaurants to visit to have a choice though, so that was good. Overall it is a beautiful area - more so in the summer when things are open - and that fact would have been more obvious if we'd have had the weather to explore as well. I walked around in my trainers and each time I got back to the hotel I had to use the hairdryer to dry them out! This is unusual though. I liked beaches close to the Turkish border

Friendly people, lots of shops and restaurants. We did a lot of walking around which was great. Pharmacies do close early throughout the week so if you need anything you need to get it before 4-5 PM max (we have walked around 7Km one weekend to find an open one as even though they showed open on Google maps they were closed). There is another passport check except the one in the airport when you enter the city due to the fact that it is the Turkish part of Cyprus. Tasty food, big portions, cheap prices.

We travelled in November which is out of season and...

We travelled in November which is out of season and therefore it was very quiet with the majority of the bars and restaurants on the main strip being closed. We were closer to Kapparis where ample bars and restaurants remained open. We had no complaints.

There were all kinds of sport facilities: basketball, football, ping pong etc, and the most popular hiking trails in Troodos are close by car. Since there was a problem with the electricity when we arrived, we had the opportunity to try both the small house and apartment type accommodations. You can have more privacy with a house, as it has an own kitchen, but the rooms are much smaller and the wifi signal was very weak, practically none. The apartment was much more spacious, but if you want to cook, you need to use a shared kitchen. There was even netflix in the apartment that was missing in the house and unlike in the house, the wifi worked properly. You need to have whatsapp on your mobile, as you get check in info by whatsapp. They have a phone number and they were responsive, could communicate in English.

Kakopetria is a beautiful destination that combines natural beauty, historical charm, and a sense of tranquility. Its picturesque setting, with stone houses, cobblestone streets, and lush landscapes, creates an idyllic atmosphere for visitors. The surrounding nature is remarkable, with hiking trails like Varkotis and Chromium offering unique paths through green forests and along rivers. The peace provided by the environment makes hiking an invigorating experience. Additionally, the calming sound of the river that flows through the area, like the one you can hear in the backyard of Maritsa Lodge, offers a unique sense of inner peace, almost like the natural white noise of the outdoors. In the village center, the traditional architecture remains intact, with taverns like Podji Poda serving excellent local cuisine, and small cafés welcoming you for a relaxing drink and dessert in the main square. Landmarks such as the chapels of Saint Nicholas and Saint George provide opportunities for pilgrimage, while Marina's Rope Park offers activities for the more adventurous visitors. Overall, Kakopetria is an ideal destination for those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, blending absolute tranquility with opportunities for outdoor activities and cultural exploration.

One of the most beautiful Cypriot villages.

One of the most beautiful Cypriot villages. Well organized beyond to what meets the eye. Everybody can see the stunning village, especially at night. But only true nature lovers and adventures will fully enjoy the magic of the area. There are tons of well maintained hiking trails to explore on foot or bike. Dozens of hidden gems to discover and plenty of great restaurants in the village and surrounding area to enjoy!

There are many small streets to stroll around.

There are many small streets to stroll around. My favourite architectural details were the many arches, hidden courtyards and the various antique door knockers. You need at least 2 days to unwind and explore. We ate at House 1923 for dinner, and also return for iced coffee. Nice atmosphere ina restore historic hotel. We also took a short drive to Lefkara dam at sunset- if you want o hear th sound of silence, you can find it there.

It was very good to discover a small medieval town away from mass tourists who are only there to sunbathe. We were interested in learning the history of Cyprus, Lofou offered other aspects of Cyprus other than the sea, swim and sun. We were sorry to miss Joseph the manager when we left., he was most friendly and helpful in every way. Thank you Joseph!
