The hotel is nicely situated just outside of central Trier, with good bus connections to the town. The free parking is a bonus, though it did get a little busy when we were there - just be careful not to park in any space which has been designated private. The hotel was quiet, our room was very spacious. Cannot comment on breakfast as we didn't take the option. Staff at check in were lovely.

The most striking part of the stay was the incredible friendliness by all members of staff. It did not matter if it was the receptionist in the morning, evening or breakfast waiter in the morning again. All were extremely friendly. I was already highly impressed by the level of service. Also the room was super, bed slept well, very clean, breakfast complete and appealing. In short, already impressive. A few weeks later i was contacted by the hotel. They had noticed that an error in the bill had occurred which i had not noticed. They informed me i would get some money back from them. This level of honesty is remarkable and appreciated. I did not notice this and would never have seen it, if they hadn't told me. Thank you. I will be back in the future, but that was already the plan.

The staff were really friendly and helpful going above and beyond to help us. It is located close to hiking and biking tracks and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Excellent choice at breakfast and the restaurant evening meals were among the best I have had on my trip and very reasonably priced. The rooms are a good size too.
