Ahlen seems to be on a downward leg. There are only a few high street locations that are left attractive. Good level of industry, though, major manufacturers have their locationg there, eg Kaldewei and Winkelmann.

It was a comfortable stay. The hotel personnel is very attentive and helpful. The hotel is close to the train station and the center of the town, which was very convenient for me. The breakfast was simple but good. I'd stay here again once back to Ahlen.
