First of all the staff: kind and helpful. Second: the location, close to the city center and the lake. I'd definitely recommend Hotel Jellentrup. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.

Hotel staff were extremely kind. We arrived really late and they let us the keys in a box, so we did a self check in. The room was excelent, heated floor, the bed was really comfortable. The wasn't any noise. It was really clean. Everything was really nice. Our stay was great. A 10/10.

Perfect location in the city center, just few steps of the Dom square and the commercial area. For car travellers, a large (paid) public underground parking is located literally across the street. Modern and cozy room interior. No budget option for sure, but given the location and the quality, it is worth its price.

Münster was supposed to be just a small layover on the way...

Münster was supposed to be just a small layover on the way home... we discovered an awesome city center, clean, lovely... cosy. The botanical garden was eye-catching... all-in-all, our stay was too short. We will sure b coming back! We had a supper at the Grosser Kiepenkerl Gasthaus... loved it so much we went back for lunch the following day. The food was great, the location comfortable and clean, and the personnel very nice.

Munster is beautiful.

Munster is beautiful. With the botanical gardens and the old city centre, the moat surrounding the town, the well kept cemetary, and the large lake to the south west, it is a pleasure to walk around. A university town so lots of young people cycling about.

The only negative issue was having to get used to all the...

The only negative issue was having to get used to all the bikes buzzing around the place. You are more likely to get run over by a bike or scooter than by a motor vehicle! That aside, Munster is a lovely City with lots of green open parks and a large lake.

We loved Münster and its people.

We loved Münster and its people. Everyone was chilled and very civilised. It was a vibrant place to visit with a pretty re-built centre. The city is surrounded by a ring of green cycle/walkways. And the bike is KING! We coincided our visit with the Send fair and the spectacular autumn fireworks.

I used the city as a quick overnight stay so didn't see a great deal. The centre although small seemed nice enough. I was hoping to visit Mühlenhof but due to train relays I arrived too late to get there.

Wonderful-sized city with leafy cycle paths and walkways, streams and the lake, plus beautiful architecture, friendly residents and some great food, including delicious Italian ice-cream. Thoroughly enjoyed the art gallery too - well-designed, informative and a pleasure to spend time in - just like the city itself!

The hotel was very accommodating of our dog and provided food bowls, a dog bed and treats. The staff were super helpful. The room size was generous for the price (we had a discount) and the bed was comfortable. The shower pressure was also excellent (very important after a week of wild camping!). The hotel is in a convenient location, lots of nice restaurants and cafes close by. We were just stopping over on our way back to Switzerland and we're pleasantly surprised by both the hotel and Munster.

The location of the hotel was excellent, right in the centre of the city and easy to walk everywhere. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and staff when we needed them were very friendly and helpful - we arrived late so did the self check-in, and only spoke to the staff on check-out when we stored out bags there. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but there were cafes practically outside serving breakfast and coffee.

The environment of the hotel was really nice. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and quite big. Münster is still kind of a nice place in Germany, however their tragic illegal migration situation. (But unfortunately, this can be seen already here as well)

Really great hotel and restaurant. This was simply an overnight stay on a long car journey but I hope we can return again. Location is a quiet and very pleasant small town / suburb to Munster. Hotel staff very friendly and the restaurant was excellent.
