Every morning a delicious lovely peaceful breakfast. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and fulfilling our requests. All the rooms were immaculately clean and very comfortable. There was even a lovely little extra guest kitchen with a dining area down the hall for us to use. A most enjoyable time in Altenau.

We had one bedroom (good double bed) with a big TV, and a living room with a couch as the third bed. Nice view from the sunny balcony onto the restaurant terrace. Parking for 3 motorbikes next to the Hotel was available. Breakfast was good.

For me it was a convenient place to jump off the trail for a nights accommodation. Richard the host was very welcoming. My room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good.
