The studio flat is very central with restaurants within a minute or two walking distance (and two supermarkets plus the train station within 5 walking minutes). The flat itself was clean and quite spacious with a decently sized dinning area and a sofa. The fully-equipped kitchen is in a separate, small room by itself, which also makes the place feel more like a proper flat rather than a cramped studio. Everything was very clean. The landlord was always very responsive (he works in a restaurant just down the road from the property and could even help out on a very short notice when the flat's key was temporarily misplaced). TL;dr definitely recommended for both solo travellers and couples who want to stay a few nights in beautiful Amorbach.

Great and charming hotel in a small town, with very nice and gentle staff and a wonderful restaurant. We arrived by bus from Miltenberg and the bus stop is in front of the hotel, on the main avenue. The hotel is close to the road that takes us to Engelberg - just behind it. Everything was very clean. The bathroom was completely renovated and elegant, while the bedroom was in a cosy old style. The owner was a gentleman and helped us a lot, even taking us to the train station when we left. The restaurant was of a high standard, unexpected for a small town, we had a delicious and excellent dinner. The breakfast room was typical and charming and the breakfast was delicious with German bread and cakes. I will probably return to Grossheubach in the future and stay in the same place.

This was easily one of the best places we have stayed in. The place had a charm about it, which was not surprising considering its history - and all the expectations were more than met. The room was amazing and very tastefully maintained. The location bang in the town centre was super convenient. The breakfast was outstanding and the personal touch by the staff was a welcome surprise.
