The whole house was very peaceful. I liked the room were you could make tea or coffee and that there was a small library. I also liked getting the help to find locations and the friendliness of the owner.

Great host who took the time to speak to us, in English. He was very helpful with suggestions on where to visit. We also enjoyed a lovely breakfast.

We booked an apartment on the top floor. It was very modern and spacious, 2 twin bedrooms, large lounge, 2 bathrooms, balcony with great views. There is a lift up to the 5th floor. Location could not be much better with bars and restaurants just a few hundred metres away, breakfast was great. It had off street parking at the front

The staff was very friendly and helpful, both reception and breakfast. There was a minor issue with our room neighbours, they were smoking a lot on their balcony, which is fine, but because of this we couldn't air properly in our room, especially at night in the summer. Then the reception helped us immediately and invited us to see a new room, with an isolated balcony. What a fantastic service, thank you!

Breakfast: fantastic. Room: excellent. Spa: superb

The design of the entire place, breakfast and cleanliness of the place were excellent 👌

Special thanks to nice lady who work in Reception

Great breakfast buffet, delicious dinner in the restaurant, very nice and clean pool. We have enjoyed our stay very much.

Friendly staff, good location, parking space, simple but comfortable and spacious room, quiet and relaxing area.

Great place on the side of a historic reservoir. Great breakfast too.

Stunning setting and wonderful history

We loved the property and the location, a very nice room but for me a mimimalist a little over fussy and a little tired Excellent breakfast wait good selection not great coffee but good value The couple that run the hotel were so hard working have only been there 2 weeks and know it needs a little tweaking

Very nice location with an excellent view on the Edersee and on Waldeck. Staff was very friendly and helpful, our apartment was well equipped and convenient. Parking was okay, could be a little limited during full hotel occupation.

excellent location, friendly staff, very clean and tidy, and a great breakfast. there was also a swimming pool and sauna facilities

Great location, super clean and with nice atmosphere. Worth to come, relax and escape from the world.

The setting (a manor ) was beautiful. The breakfast was of good quality. Close to beautiful hiking tracks and a short walk to the village. Friendly owner :)

Amazing food like I had the Fisch in Butter with local ingredients
