Hotel LIndenwirt is a charming German hotel in the middle of Rudesheim. The rooms are older but clean and maintained well. The breakfast is very good and excellent value included for the stay. If you are driving in, be sure to request parking. Having a parking spot clearly reserved for you in the middle of Rudesheim is a HUGE perk. Just have to be careful driving into the hotel respecting the correct steer (one-way) to and then out of the hotel. Tourists are usually in the road thinking it is a pedestrian-only street.

Staying in an old chateau / castle was a buzz and the themed decore was an added bonus. We found everything to be as expected and excellent. I also recommend taking the short walk up behind the lower castle to the older upper castle remains. Climb the tower and take in the amazing views.

It is more touristic than I thought, a bit overcrowded for my taste. One reason to not take the cable car up the mountain. If you like crowds and lots of restaurants you're at the right place. We had a good meal in Willingen. We went to the hang bridge (Sky walk) nearby, we visited the Dimeltalsperre and we went shopping in Winterberg.

Nothing much here compared to other towns. Didn’t understand the Grimm Brothers museum and what it was trying to achieve. The Bergpark was good. Great for nature lovers. Three night maximum stay is sufficient.

The city has more to offer than fabulous Mathildenhöhe. There is the very beautiful castle and the marvellous Landesmuseum. The Jugendstilbad (swimming pool in a historical building) was great. People are kind and helpful everywhere.

The city is trying to improve itself. There is much room for improvement the best area and seems to be relatively new is in the Hafen. We will stay in that area Should we ever need to be in Offenbach again.

We love the hotel and the spa area.

We love the hotel and the spa area. Breakfast is excellent and bar menu good. We do not give the full excellent rating because we would have expected from a four star hotel a complimentary water kettle with tea and coffee as well was a water bottle. This is even provided by the lower rated chain holiday inn express. For the amount of 160 Euro per night versus 120 Euro this should be changed and added to all rooms for extra service and benefit to the guests.

Found very nice small old town in mid of Eschborn- about 15-20 minutes walk from my hotel. There were several nice restaurants. Had time to try 2 of them- one German, one Italian and both of them were super. Evenings seemed to be crowded, so if possible I would reccomend booking a table.

We chose this hotel because the advertisement mentioned available parking. After arriving, I still asked at reception to be sure and was told that indoor parking is not free overnight. I then explicitly asked whether I could leave the car in the garage briefly for check-in, and the receptionist said yes. I checked in as quickly as possible and moved the car to street parking shortly afterward (it was late in the evening and freezing). Despite this, I later received a €60 parking demand from the external parking service for a stay of just 16 minutes. This was very unpleasant and confusing. I recommend future guests clarify parking rules in detail in advance.
