One of those absolutely special and unique stays. An overnight stay on the Fairytale Route in a 16th century building. The lovely breakfast including home made ham, salami, preserves and other goodies was sensational and another unique experience. Free parking right out the front and a lovely morning spent wandering this tiny town was like being transported back 500 years. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

We didn't realize this is one of the Relais & Châteaux hotels before we arrive, and we're totally satisfied after arrival. Pretty nice holiday getaway hotel with good location, view, facility and friendly staff. There is a gift riesling in the room(yes of course, this is Geisenheim, riesling is the reason that brought us here), and it is a pretty tasty one. The hotel has a fine restaurant attached to it, but we didn't have a chance to try due to reservation issues.

It is more touristic than I thought, a bit overcrowded for my taste. One reason to not take the cable car up the mountain. If you like crowds and lots of restaurants you're at the right place. We had a good meal in Willingen. We went to the hang bridge (Sky walk) nearby, we visited the Dimeltalsperre and we went shopping in Winterberg.

Nothing much here compared to other towns. Didn’t understand the Grimm Brothers museum and what it was trying to achieve. The Bergpark was good. Great for nature lovers. Three night maximum stay is sufficient.

The city has more to offer than fabulous Mathildenhöhe. There is the very beautiful castle and the marvellous Landesmuseum. The Jugendstilbad (swimming pool in a historical building) was great. People are kind and helpful everywhere.

The city is trying to improve itself. There is much room for improvement the best area and seems to be relatively new is in the Hafen. We will stay in that area Should we ever need to be in Offenbach again.

We love the hotel and the spa area.

We love the hotel and the spa area. Breakfast is excellent and bar menu good. We do not give the full excellent rating because we would have expected from a four star hotel a complimentary water kettle with tea and coffee as well was a water bottle. This is even provided by the lower rated chain holiday inn express. For the amount of 160 Euro per night versus 120 Euro this should be changed and added to all rooms for extra service and benefit to the guests.

Found very nice small old town in mid of Eschborn- about 15-20 minutes walk from my hotel. There were several nice restaurants. Had time to try 2 of them- one German, one Italian and both of them were super. Evenings seemed to be crowded, so if possible I would reccomend booking a table.

If you do not speak German, Gießen is not probably the best...

If you do not speak German, Gießen is not probably the best option. You might have several limits in comunication, starting with the trains to reach it. It is a town, with a few historical buildings (the war destroyed everything) and lots of waste around, with bad smells. I appreciated the University buildings (they are spread around the city), the parks, the botanical garden. Please try the cinnamon-butter bread and the poppy seed cake of the Brot atelier!
