We had been stuck at the airport for two days and decided to finally get a nights rest and shower, and while all the hotels close by or connected to the airport jumped up their prices, Air Rooms Hotel stayed the same, affordable and clean for one night. When that’s all you need. The reception staff (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name) was so very thoughtful and helpful calling us taxis, and in allowing us come back after hours when we had passport issues and their empathy was so appreciated by two weary travellers. ❤️ Thank you. New, clean and practical for short stays because of its proximity to the airport and private shuttle bus. It needs to address some basic issues like noise from bathroom fan and secure the connection between the beds, to make the stay restful.

Kelsterbach is a small village right outside the airport.
Kelsterbach is a small village right outside the airport. NO NOISE I like quaint places. I lived there for 3 years while I was working They have added a great little "Beach Bar that the locals go to" under the bridge. Lots of local flavor with several different bars and restaurants close by the Main Apartment/Hotel where I stayed for 93Euro a night. Do yourself a favor. It's right on the river. I walked the park every day and night. Peaceful and fun.

Good place to overnight before going to the airport. Good access by taxi (20 euros), bus and train. Pretty small town on the Mainz River. Lovely walk on the river. You might be able to get on a river cruise here. Some small cafes and restaurants near the train station and a greek restaurant on the river. Lots of pretty half timbered houses. Small square outside the Lutheran church is nice.

Hotel condition was not as described in Booking.com. I strongly suggest no one stay at this hotel. No air-conditioning, no Wi-Fi, no television. I was given three different rooms because the front desk clerk was unaware of which rooms had been cleaned and ready for rental. Two other guests were complaining of similar unlivable conditions in their rooms.Jack - 10

Very nice hotel and a very helpful owner. You have to check in at a bar on the railway station but that was perfectly fine and the owner gave me a free beer and all info needed to plan my next day trip. It is one trainstation from the airport so ideal for a sleep over or an early flight. Room was enormous with free coffee, tea and mineral water. Big balcony and a very good restaurant nearby. 4 minutes walk from the railway station. The only thing I would like is to have a better pillow but overall a very good place to stay!

Nice quiet town near the busy Frankfurt Airport. All a man can need just at a throw of a stick (shops, supermarkets, pretty restaurants and a lot of fast-food locations, mainly döner). The connection to airport is made with the S-train and it does not cost too much, you basically do not need taxi.
