Superb value for money. Pleasant host. Good parking just outside the hotel on the street. Good location, 400 metres from the old town centre yet quiet. Large clean comfy rooms. Very good food at very reasonable price. Breakfast not buffet but plentiful, all laid out at your table.

This hotel is located in the centre of the village of Frickenhausen, on the River Main. It offers well-equipped rooms, a daily breakfast buffet and free Wi-Fi throughout the building.

Small attention to details and made to feel very welcome. With a pet we stayed in the new part (not the old castle) which has aircon. Lovely walks around the castle. The is the castles own wine collection to taste and buy as well. Amazing location for breakfast in the castle itself. YOu cant visi the castle itself outside hours. Many original features are very sympathetically restored.
